Fantastic. Excellent communication prior to arrival. Excellent base to get the water taxi to main island and Alilaguna to airport. Hosts cannot do enough for you. Lovely, fresh, home-made breakfast. Rooms were quite warm and air con not the best but it was so quiet and less of the hustle of the main island. Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace over Venice. Had to leave early and hosts asked if we wanted a sandwich to go. My daughter asked if we could have chocolate croissants and they baked some especially. P.s. Venice and Alison are both beautiful. Thank you

Fantastic 4 day trip to the lido. Hotel is excellent for location, authenticity and customer service. Cant rate the hotel and staff highly enough and this will always be our first choice hitel when staying on the lido in future

Fabulous hotel
Fabulous hotel in a great location. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the pier and 1 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. The hotel is decor is superb. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The views from the terrace overlooking the lagoon and st marks square are fabulous, especially with a glass of wine after a day out. The continental breakfast is good with plenty of choice. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks for a great few days!

Staff could not have been more welcoming. Beautiful gardens. Very quiet but easy access to the Main Street and walk to beach. The breakfast was excellent. Bed was good. Showers a bit small Highly recommend this as a great alternative to crowded noisy Venezia. Thank you Marco you went above expectations.

Dear Guest, many thanks for your feedback, the 'budget' room may be small, we agree, but you still have anything you need in it, including large windows with garden view and a full en suite bathroom; consider also that its price is about 15/20% cheaper compared to a 'standard' room. Nice well located property. Spotless. Quite old fashioned decor in room. My Expedia deal was meant to include sparkling wine never got it. Overall lovely hotel would stay again

Excellent service
I was in this hotel 2 nights. It is a beautiful hotel boutique, quiet and clean. Comfortable room. I liked a lot the client service, excellent, amiable personal. The breakfast was sooooo good :-) The station where you take the vaporetto to move to the Plaza San Marco and other places is only 4 or 5 minutes from the hotel. Now I understand the reason of other clients to rating it with higher feedback. I will go there again!

Hidden Gem in Lido Island
Pros: Free parking, easy to walk to get to ferry port to Venice and other islands. Plenty of restaurants in the surrounding. Quiet area. Very good service at breakfast. Plenty of breakfast amount. Cons: Room is small but enough. Room card get malfunction (maybe due to magnetic surrounding) but it was quickly solved. No lift so don’t bring heavy stuff to your room.

Such a charming hotel! The staff was wonderful and helped us to arrange car ferry service to the island. Breakfast was wonderful, and the balcony on the rooftop gave a wonderful view of the city. We will definitely return!

Easter on Lido.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel delle Palme. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The rooms were well equipped but slightly tight for space. The shower was very cramped and old fashioned. The rooms were clean. The breakfast area was also very cramped. The food was good and varied, but was insufficient for the number of guests and there were no top ups of hot drinks offered. The location was quiet but very convenient for the ferries and there were lots of very nice local restaurants for eating out in the evening. The beach was also within a short walking distance. Staying on Lido was a positive experience and have a different perspective of Venice. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a relaxing, family-friendly place to stay.

Lovely little gem on the Lido
Really beautiful hotel, much better than the images show off. We got the superior room with the balcony which had a sofa and bed. Not huge inside but more than enough along with the balcony and outside table and chairs which was huge. Its all clearly been redone very recently with new electronic door locks and a very good level of decoration. Breakfast was very serviceable but not outstanding. Great coffee and selection of fruit cheese, salami and ham, cake (Lemon and Pistachio was devine), croissants, rolls yogurts and cereal of good quality. Provided eggs and sausages were usually a bit rubbery and the standard Italian hotel orange squash/juice thing was a bit disappointing but these were easily avoided. Overall a really stunning treat, we highly advice staying both here and on the Lido for the price we payed. Minibar fees were good, E3 for a beer and E2 for a soft drink and we used it to cool an evening bottle of limoncelo to enjoy in the setting sun.

Love the hotel, felt very nostalgic and very Venice. Staff was amazing, nice breakfast, was so clean and close to ferry, shopping, resuraunts, bars, and water. Also and quiet and beautiful view from the upstairs deck, a nice place to have a drink and cigarette at the end of the day! Rooms are non smoking so there is at least a place for smokers to go that is lovely. One day we will come back to Venice and stay here again!

Attractive quiet hotel close to water bus station
Booked very reasonably priced budget room which was understandably very small but perfectly formed, had everything you need in it including mini bar. Small but powerful shower. Beautiful views from roof terrace. Very close to both water bus station to nip over to Venice Island (very frequent) or the islands and also close to Lido beach. Staff friendly and helpful, room was cleaned every day. Only criticism would be that an extra free cup of coffee at breakfast would have been nice.

Nice hotel in Lido
We loved this hotel. It's very close to the Lido water bus stop. Very quite and cozy. Friendly and helpful staff. Healthy breakfast with many options also. We will surely be there again if we are going to visit Venice.

Lovely hotel great location.
Hotels in a great location with close transport links to venice city, and only 10 minutes walk to lido beach. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room was very comortable, good selection on breakfast. At the top of the hotel there is a triple deck roof terrace with fantastic views. I would highly recommend.

Two nights in Venice
Went for a couple of nights to Venice, and chose to stay on the Lido as this hotel was offering excellent rates and the reviews were good. The hotel did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was beautifully decorated (in fact the whole of the hotel we saw was), and the Lido turned out to be an excellent place to stay. The hotel is located just a couple of minutes walk from the main water-ferry terminal and the same for some local bars (Bar 9 round the corner is excellent). I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will look forward to visiting them again.

No Elevator but nice area
Great location, breakfast was fine, room was small and there was no elevator (get a room on the bottom floor) - it wasn't fun going up and down for our stay and def not fun with our 2 bags. Issues: - toilet seat cracked..be careful you don't get the skin of your thigh caught in there - shower head would not stay up so used the red thread what may have been the emergency pull cord to hold it up so I could shower. - was told by 1 person the safe would need to be re-set as the last person left it closed and locked. Next day was told it required replacing...so we had no safe for our time there...very annoying - service was fine, never bad depending on who you got at the front. - told no iron available - had to figure out the TV (which was CRT) on my own...the remote document didn't say how to get started. - phone in room but we didn't know what to dial to get what (front desk/housekeeping, etc) - the main gate opens very easily and the main door to the hotel slides open when you walk in...not very secure. The front desk is not manned 24hrs. We came in one day and the front gate was open with someone going through a room in the main floor - they not following the rules to keep the main gate closed and compromised everyone's safety - the area did seem quite safe however. I have pics but can't upload them for some reason.

Dear Customer, His comment is very important to us and every day we try to improve For the customer the service and our information to make the stay pleasant And comfortable. In his important comment to us we must add, I do not think it is written in his comment, That the bathroom tablet was on the day of his immediate arrival And in 48 has been correctly repositioned in its place, having been unfortunately broken by the previous customer these were the minimum times needed for its replacement, it is also added that for this disguise was made a 50% discount on the first two nights. The lift being a historic Villa of 1903 can not be installed as it is not allowed by the competent institutional offices, however, in the hotel's website And in the advertising pages posted within the web agencies in the mentioned services there is absolutely no elevator and it is described that the Villa is made up of two floors with relative photographs of public areas and stairs leading to the floors , But in the area dedicated to the requests When filling up her reservation she was not told to have a room on the ground floor or on the first floor, a request that we would certainly have done if she had been asked Regarding security, regulations are complied with in terms of law Thanks again for her stay at the Villa and in the hope that Anyway she has spent a good stay as it is deduced by reading her Comment I would like to clarify the above, making her comment more complete. cordially The direction
