Veldig bra opphold! Vi ble møtt på kaia av eieren Nicola, som hjalp oss med bagasje gjennom en labyrint av broer og gater og viste oss hvordan vi skulle huske veien. Oceano Mare ligger i et sjarmerende, stille strøk, vekk fra verste turisttrafikken, men likevel en kort spasertur fra Markusplassen. Fint rom med bad i 2. etg, ikke så stort, men helt greitt. God seng. Air con., kjøleskap og nettverk, sistnevnte kunne nok vært bedre. Frokostrom i inngangsetasjen, bord dekket til 12, godt utstyrt for å lage seg en enkel kontinental frokost. Flott service fra en veldig hyggelig vert. Anbefales på det varmeste!

We recommend!

We got a nice upgrade to a family suite that was very comfortable. The WiFi worked well on the 3rd floor; he had installed a repeater. There was TV, but we didn’t speak Italian so we didn’t watch. The bathroom was a little small, but at least it was an ensuite. It was an easy walk to the vaporetto stop on the north as well as the south side of Venice. Nicola was very friendly and helpful and available whenever we needed him. It is a very nice property. Venice is a city of lots of walking!

Small, cozy hotel

This place was amazing. Nicola is most helpful. He recommends very traditional Venetian restaurants where you even get a discount or free drink if you mention his name.

Flott beliggenhet med grei standard

Flott og rolig område å bo i, men likevel sentralt nok. Enkel standard, men du får det du betaler for. Kjempehyggelig og hjelpsom vert! Dette stedet kan helt klart anbefales som et fint utgangspunkt for å se det Venezia har å tilby.

Lovely b&b. True Venice. We were seriously delayed at our end. Kept in contact with Nicola. Who, although we were very late still met us at the vaporetto. We plan on returning to Venice and Oceano will be our first choice every time.

Lovely property in a quiet but very convenient and accessible part of the city. The proprietor,Nicola, is wonderful and makes every effort to insure that you you enjoy your stay. If you have trouble negotiating stairs then request the first floor and not the second.

Quiet location yet close to the sights.

Great stay at Oceano Mare, Nicola always available via Whatsapp with advice or to help if lost. Location is good in a quiet area yet still close to both the Grand canal and Piazza San Marco. Also short walk to reach Vaparetto for the outer islands.

Great experience in Venice

Oceano Mare won't be the most luxurious place you'll ever stay in, but wonderful memories of it should linger. It's real Venice - slightly away from most tourist crowds. Most people who live in this neighborhood live there all year. The most memorable part of the experience is Nicola who takes care of the place. Full of information, quirky, generous and thoroughly enjoyable. He is full of suggestions and really wants you to have a good time in Venice.

Cute little B&B

Nicola is truly amazing! So down to earth and genuine. He helped us throughout our stay and was available for anything. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The rooms were nice and the breakfast in the morning was awesome!

Petite chambre très bien située

Océano Mare est vraiment très bien situé, dans un quartier calme mais très proche du centre de Venise. La chambre que nous avions est propre, petite, avec deux petites fenêtres. Le petit déjeuner est standard. Et Nicola est aux petits soins ! A recommander pour l'emplacement et les attentions de Nicola, pour ceux qui veulent avant tout découvrir Venise.

Nice and central B&B

Ein sehr gutes Hotel für einen Städtetrip. Der B&B Besitzer hat uns direkt nach unserer Ankunft abgeholt , den schnellsten Weg zum Hotel gezeigt und war super nett. Das Hotelzimmer ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und war sauber. Zudem ist die Lage des B&B sehr gut und man konnte von dort aus alles zu Fuß erreichen (innerhalb von 5 Minuten war man am Markusplatz).

Accueil parfait, localisation idéale au calme et assez proche de tout (visite, bar, restaurant, vaporetto...) Merci à Nicola pour ses conseils, sa disponibilité, son accueil très tardif suite au retard de notre vol. très bonne adresse : simplicité et facilité.

hôte très accueillant et toujours de bon conseil. b&b situé dans un quartier calme mais à 10-15 mn de la place st marc à pied. chambre composée d'une salle de bain avec douche correcte et 2 lits de 1 personne rassemblés, ce qui est appréciable. wifi

Nella sua categoria, trovo che questa struttura abbia un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Inoltre la posizione è molto favorevole. La colazione abbondante. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Le camere sono un pò piccole, ma a Venezia per la maggior parte sono così. Lo consiglio e ci ritornerei se dovessi pernottare di nuovo a Venezia!

Un séjour très agréable chez un super hôte !

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce B&B et avons été très contents de ce séjour. L'emplacement, certes un peu excentré, est reposant car loin de l'affluence touristique. Nous étions à 10 min de l'arsenal (idéal pour la Biennale) et à une quinzaine de minutes à pied de la place Saint Marc. Tous les jours, le petit déjeuner (buffet) était bon et avec beaucoup de choix (fruits, gâteaux faits par le proprio, tous les jours différents, pain, biscottes, charcuterie...), différents cafés, du thé... etc. Le propriétaire, Nicola, a été d'une grande gentillesse. Il a tenu à transporter nos valises jusqu'à son B&B tout en nous faisant faire un parcours commenté depuis l'arrêt de vaporetto Arsenale jusqu'au B&B. C'est une personne vraiment sympathique et arrangeante, qui a su nous conseiller de bonnes adresses et aidé sur plusieurs points (laisser nos valises dans le B&B le jour où nous partions pour qu'on puisse profiter encore de notre journée avant le décollage, imprimer nos réservations de visites...). La chambre était petite mais confortable néanmoins, même si l'on voit que l'immeuble et les équipements dans la salle de bains ne sont pas des plus récents. Ménage tous les jours. Pour ce que l'on peut trouver à Venise, c'était un très bon rapport qualité / prix. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir être si bien accueillis et pouvoir profiter d'un emplacement calme dans Venise, néanmoins proche de pas mal de choses à pied. (il y aussi deux arrêts de vaporetto à proximité)

Really nice BnB, quiet, good food, awesome host

We absolutely loved our experience at Oceano Mare. Nico was an excellent host, making sure we didn't get lost on our way to the BnB and available at all times via text messages or email. It is the perfect place to visit Venice, in a quiet area. Nico always makes sure he provides fresh fruits and various sweet and savoury food to enjoy in the morning. We already recommended the BnB to friends and would definitely go back! The view from our room ("the Family room") was so nice. We also loved to pet Nico's dog when he visited! Thanks Nico!
