Great central Venice apartment

We had a great weekend stay at the house - the welcome was especially great. Only issues - the address does not show up correctly on Google maps so make sure to double confirm the location - we had some confusion around this. Also, we did have a lot of mosquitos in the house - make sure to keep the windows closed at all times. Lastly - the second bathroom is only a half bath - there is a water sprayer in it but it’s not a shower. But overall, it’s a very well appointed, super well located apartment! Was perfect for a trip with a friend for the weekend.

If you’re going to visit Venice you need to be aware that there is some effort involved getting to your property destination, but well worth it. GPS came in handy finding the spot because it is t out in the open, couple twist and turn to get there however after a few repetition's you’ll get the hang of the location. Property rep was kind, informative and helpful when checking in. As for the property, it was what I expected from the pics however better preparation for the next renter could have need much better. Property wasn’t dirty however it wasn’t clean either. Bathrooms and floors were not at the level of cleanliness you’d expect checking. Had to sweep and mop after arriving along with wiping down surfaces throughout the property. Location is good, only real negative was encountering a looter/pick pocketer going through his gatherings for the day sitting on our steps blocking the entrance to the property. Asked him politely to take it elsewhere and he respected the request. Would I stay there twice, hard no but I’d definitely visit Venice again at some point in my lifetime.
