We had the “Design Cabin”, the unit is awesome! And we enjoyed the wonderful and amazing view of Aurora light at the balcony! Highligh recommended for Design Cabin!

Finding the reception area to check in was extremely difficult and confusing. Their signs gave little clues. Went into the restaurant, but nobody was around, so kept looking. Went back into the restaurant and just started wandering. Tucked way in the back was the reception. He admitted many visitors have a hard time. Then my reservation clearly said room with water and mountains view...yeah if we really stretched our neck we could see a little of it. The kitchen counter was drenched with water we had to clean up, the couch pillows looked dirty and the floor carpeting was old and worn. Immediately entering the room we encountered a very strong musty smell. We've been traveling for nearly two weeks through Norway and this place was the only true disappointment.

I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. The designer suite had a unique view on the little harbour and mountains! . Great breakfast . Short walk to a great restaurant!

Good property for the value. Great service and pleasant staff. They have a restaurant on site too with great breakfast and view on water which is a big plus how ever i didnt use it as not a lot of vegetarian options for dinner. I was not surprised as its a fishing town and i do not eat fish or meat. Otherwise cant think of anything bad to write for review. They were even accodomating for luggage w flight times. Thank u fir wonderful stay

What a disappointing experience. We booked a 3-bedroom villa and even though the villa was really nice furnished, it missed some essentials. For us, as we spent several weeks traveling, it was important to have a washer and a dryer. We first emailed the property to ask for this information but never received an answer -that could’ve been a red flag, but we did not see the signs-. Then we called and were told that we would have everything we needed, but forgot to mention that the washer/dryer is just ONE and located in a tiny room at the parking lot with hours of “operations” (for guests just between 3pm-9pm) as they needed to be share by all the guests AND hotel staff, as those are the ones also use for washing/drying towels and other hotel stuff. Although the Expedia listing indicated the Villa had refrigerator/freezer, there is no freezer, so all our frozen products got wasted. Also listed was daily housekeeping, and this never happened during our 4-days stay. Front desk service and restaurant hours are also very limited. Reception opening hours are 9am-11:45am, then closedown 11:45am to 3:00pm and open again 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Restaurant only opens 8am to 10am for breakfast (20 euro per person) and 5pm-10pm for dinner. Reception is also hard to find when first arriving. Please be aware if you arrive early (as happened to us) you would find everything closed and no place -besides inside your car- to wait, eat or use the toilet while waiting.

Off-season stay in refurbished design rooms
We visited off-season in mid May. This is a cosy and authentic place. The newly refurbished rooms are fresh and modern, and even the corridor outside the room was a pleasant experience. As they were refurbishing the reception area and restaurant, we were welcomed by the staff outside the building. Breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning. Would like the option of a vegetarian breakfast, but we were never asked.

The room was very small, the bathroom lights flickered, the bathroom drain was slow, the room was overwhelming hot in the afternoon, even with the window open. We had to open the door to the outside hallway to get it to cool down just a little. The menu at the restaurant is very limited.

Enjoyed my stay there recently. Good location surrounded with nice sceneries around. Pro and friendly staff/management. Easy to drive around with plenty free parking spots + EV charging stations. Rooms are clean, modern, upgraded with great shower and bathroom setup.

Beautiful design and area!
I loved this lovely hotel in Ballstad. The design was beautiful, absolutely stunning! There was an incredible restaurant on site that we visited for both dinner and breakfast, and the area of the hotel could NOT have been more lovely! There was an actual viking looking ship right outside the main area, it was gorgeous! The room did get pretty warm at night, but opening the windows definitely helped. The front desk had a hairdryer for us to borrow, and overall our stay was lovely.

A great place to enjoy the lofoten's atmosphere. Big villas with kitchenette and quiet rooms. Staff are very friendly and supportive to help solving issues. The restaurant beside seems to be well-known from locals, a bit pricy, but awesome food. excellent choice

Marcus and Stella was marvelous. They helped with the local surroundings as this was my first time to Lofoten Islands. Their suggestions and recommendations were spot on. Marcus loaned me his tripod stand and helped me tune the camera to Aurora mode and the photos came out better than I ever had. The weather held up, which was good and got a bit snowy and windy after I left. I had a room facing the marina, the old Viking ship and the view were just great to do my work.

Beautiful location in sweet and comfortable accommodation. We arrived late on the day due to the ferries but the staff had already ensured our room was warm and our keys were easy to locate. They left us to it for our entire stay but would say hello when they saw us which was good. The rooms are spacious and have amazing views out into the harbour. We also found that there were nights where you could see the northern lights from this property. My only advice to guest is to make sure you bring your own towels as it is more an apartment than a hotel.

누피요르트와 스볼바르 사이 가성비 좋은 고즈넉한 호텔
고즈넉한 아주 작은 항구마을에 본관은 리모델링한 깨끗한 이층 건물임. 창밖의 산 조경이 일품이고 조식은 만족스런 수준은 아니나 가성비 좋음. 엘리베이터없음.

The studio was nicely equipped but seems to lack air circulation unless door or windows are kept open, or constantly running the fan. No curtains to cover the windows which means it gets very bright very early in the morning = not so good for sleeping. The windows have blinds that gives you privacy and some reduction of the light during nighttinme but far from enough.
