Very good comfortable beds. each dorm has it's own bathroom and toilet. towels and shampoo were also provided. Easy check in process. we could also leave the luggage in the luggage room for free of charge after we checkout. just 7-8 mins walk from Bahnhof, so good connectivity and lots of eateries at the Bahnhof. Only drawback was the guest kitchen was not clean and very few utensils.

Its a hostel. No glasses in the room. Garbage was not cleaned from previous stay. Dull lighting. Breakfast was minimal which was ok but getting cutlery n a coffee cup was a challenge. For a second cup of coffee it was a hit or miss. Good luck with getting staff attention. I guess u get what u pay for. Would never recommend

Convenient and Clean
Clean, conveniently located near Vienna main train station, very reasonably priced even for a private room. Its spare in accommodation but absolutely perfect for days out and about and a place to lay your head at night.

Stayed here for one night. A&O is less than 5 minutes away from the train station. Rooms are clean, spacious, and simple. Bed is reasonably comfortable considering that is is a hostel. Would definitely stay here again.

Basically, it's a good value for young travelers to hang out, and hang their heads, in an otherwise expensive city. Location is convenient. But area quite loud and noisy on a weekend night. (Not sure that's always the case as I stayed only one night.) For older visitors to the city, I would suggest private accommodations.

Hotel and its staff were good but so many teenagers or under of teen who make loud noise and show no respect to other travellers since they arrive till sleep stay there. We couldn’t do relaxing at hotel unfortunately. Price is good so if you don’t care about teenagers’ behaviour, worth to stay as it’s so close to the Vienna station.

Great to have a family room with more than two beds! The condition, cleanliness and comfort of the hostel were all good. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Everything was excellent! The only problem was that there’s no air conditioning nor electric fan and it just happen that on the days that we stayed there the weather was at 32-35 degree celcius

If you are looking for a true hostel experience, Id give this a miss. Its really a glorified cheap hotel. Nothing wrong with that in itself but they are really lying when it says it has a kitchen and laundry, its basically name only. The kitchen is a small room in the basement. It consists of a small microwave, and a double electric hotplate. I saw a few glasses and 4 plates. Dont think you are going to be able to cook a decent meal here as you will be fighting with 50 other people for the wooden spoon. The fridge broke down as well and everyones food was spoiled including our own. The laundry room is one washing machine and one dryer in the hallway by the kitchen.The queue to wash clothes was all day everyday and I found myself doing drying at 1am as it was the only time i could get free. The general reception area was chaotic with about 3 members of staff who seemed to be working 24/7. There was a nice garden area but a rather burly security guard kicked everyone out at 9pm as it closes. On a map it looks like its close to the station. Technically it is, but the station is ENORMOUS and you will spend a good hour a day marching from one side to the other. In reality it must be a mile to the nearest U or tram stop once you have walked all round. Finally the rooms were fine. Clean, spacious and comfy. Nothing exceptional but a good clean room.

Disappointed with our recent stay at the Vienna hostel booked via Hotels.com. Beds were unmade, room untidy with scattered bottles. Bathroom had a clogged drain. Poor cleanliness and maintenance. Paid over 100 EUR for the Family room. Hope for a resolution. Not the experience we expected from a&o Hostel.
