I was looking for a cheap place to stay and settled on this hotel. The area around the hotel is very limited. Basically on the edge of Vienna. There was a grocery store and a gas station next door and some restaurants in the metro stop that was a 10 minute walk. But being so far outside the city center meant a quiet area. I felt safe walking alone at night as a female. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The shower floor was very slick. I did not eat the breakfast as I felt the price was too high. Overall, the hotel fit what I needed as a budget hotel with its own bathroom and near public transport.

I have stayed in Ibis budget hotels on numerous occasions and up until now I have always enjoyed them. However, this one really fell short. To be honest, it reminded me of a hospital or lower budget nursing home. I felt really uncomfortable and ended up checking out quickly after arriving. I would not recpmmend this facility to others.

Great value for money
Perfect budget hotel for business or leisure travel. Rooms are spacious and the beds super comfortable. 5 minute walk to the closest train station.

There's absolutely nothing in this area except supermarkets. You have to take an underground train to the city. Otherwise the hotel is clean and nice for a short stay.

Precisely as expected.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Don't look for luxury, you won't find it, but if all you want is somewhere clean and comfortable to spend the night, this is it.

The property is sterile; staff average and depending on who served you not very knowledgeable. Check-in took for ever. This is not a cosy place, it is sterile, cold and cheap. The bathroom floor is slippery, and there is no hand rail, The caution sticker on the bathroom door looks tacky. Cleaning staff not courteous. Overall the place felt institutional.

If all you want is a bed and place to keep your stuff while you do other things, it's fine. Not the lap of luxury but clean, close to transportation and safe neighborhood.

Nice hotel
The receptionist was friendly and the check in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable for one night stay. The underground station is approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel

A large room with little furniture
The double room in this budget hotel is surprisingly large. However, it is very modestly furnished. Just one chair, just a couple of hangers. For me solo it was OK. I didn't find an electric plug near the bed. There are no transparent curtains, and there were other windows opposite. There is a coffee machine in the lobby of the hotel. Although the hotel is not in the center, it is close to the international bus station, close to the metro, and there is a supermarket next to the hotel.

A pretty spartan hotel and rooms but at that price it was OK. But had a difficult time getting hot water for the morning shower. Ended up using luke warm water.

This is a great hotel for the price. The manager and staff are very friendly. I arrived a few hours early before the scheduled check-in time, and the front desk manager was kind enough to let me check in a bit early and rest from a long flight. Great service and they even offered to help with directions to the city. The location is also right next to the train station.

Gasometer
The manager of the hotel was outstandingly helpful, kind and compassionate. I cannot recommend this hotel for careful travellers highly enough. Gasometer is an interesting part of Vienna I hadn't visited before. It's about 5 minutes walk from the U3 line and next door to a Billa supermarket. There's a lovely outdoor area. The rooms had exceptionally comfortable pillows, super shower room and openable windows. There's also wonderfully efficient Wi-Fi. Great place to stay and will return.
