"The property managers are not good. They are not cleaning property and not changing bed sheets and not providing any clean service during our stay. They are just looking for money without providing service.
Further, they want to give a bad condition property if you don’t ask."

"Only one hotel front desk staff is very fluent I'm English but they are all very friendly and helpful.
Though I requested for high floors, I was given ground floor. Later, they change it to second floor.
They did not clean the room on daily basis.
No breakfast or free mineral water.
Though there is a sign called no smoking but people smoke in the corridor. The smoking air gets into my room."

"If you want a luxurious place to stay in Hanoi, The Sofitel Metropole Hotel should be at the top of your list. Built in 1901, it retains echoes of the French colonial era. The service was excellent throughout; from the reception to the breakfast area, and our favourite, the pool bar!
Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with a smart TV that allowed us to connect to various services such as Netflix and You Tube. One minor point to note for visitors from the UK - the power point accept UK plugs without an adaptor, which is very handy indeed!
This was our second visit to Hanoi. We stayed here for 7 days this trip and we were very sad to leave! Thank you to the all the staff at the Metropole; thank you Hanoi and thank you Vietnam. We will definitely be returning."
