"The location of this hotel is excellent, it’s so close to everything. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the central station in Amsterdam. We were able to walk to the hotel with our luggage without any problems (70 years old with lots of luggage traveling in Europe for 3 weeks) Clean rooms, lots of places to admire the city near by, tons of shops and restaurants and easy to take a tram to visit would famous museums"

"The hotel is basic, but in the best possible way, and was exactly what we needed for a city break in Amsterdam. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a lovely bay window overlooking the street, which added to the charm. The bathroom was also clean and accessible. I know some people mention the narrow, steep stairs, but personally, I felt they added to the authentic Amsterdam feel, as this is so typical of the city’s buildings! The location was brilliant, making it a great base for exploring Amsterdam. If you’re looking for somewhere luxurious, this might not be the place for you, but if you want somewhere clean, comfortable and well-located to explore the city, I would definitely recommend it. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam!"

"Hotel was nice, staff were friendly, however our room was freezing and the windows wouldn’t close. We asked for help shutting them as some were 15ft high, but had to ask again as the original request didn’t happen. I suffer with a congenital heart condition and this affected me greatly and I was cold the entire stay. Sadly the pool and jacuzzi were out of order and we were not informed of this until the day before we travelled so couldn’t make alternative arrangements. We were offered an alternative at another hotel but that’s not what we wanted as we paid for complete hotel facilities. The food and bar area were lovely but the two areas of concern (warmth of room and facilities being broken without prior notice) unfortunately made our stay less enjoyable than it should have been. No money was offered off which was disappointing for the overall cost whilst not being able to enjoy the whole experience."

"Location is of course the draw of this hotel. You are footsteps away from the central train station, and then a short walk to the tourist sights and activities. The hotel has a modern lobby with restaurant/bar, but I did not eat there. Check-in was fast and my room was ready early. It was a little odd because getting to my room required two separate elevators, but the elevators are very fast. The room was nice and clean, including the bathroom. Bed was comfortable as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Amsterdam."
