Hotel staff from the front desk right through to housekeeping were most professional and courteous.Great location. I would highly recommend the GSH.

Check in staff is good. Breakfast staff is alright. Room is clean but floor is a bit sticky. No sea view which is a pity. Breakfast spread is alright.

An excellent experience staying with this new hotel. Good facilities, good dining options and service. Staff tried their best and I am confident that they can get only better. Good job and finally, a good hotel in Colombo that I like.

The main building is lovely. The bedrooms are well-appointed but actually rather cramped. The staff meet expectations but lack the charm and attentiveness to make the experience memorable. They seemed a little out of focus.

Superb experience, room are very confortable, the view is great from the room and the bathroom. Top roof pool is fantastic. The buffet is amazing (even for French people ;-) and the staff is very kind and efficient especially Rohitha and Nipuni!

It really is superb. An old colonial manor, beautifully converted into a hotel, capped with fantastic service. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and very quiet. My only regret was I could only stay one night. When travel back Sri Lanka, I'd definitely stay here again.
