"Great for a long weekend stay as there was room for me and the kids in a separate bedroom. The gym around the corner was excellent and available 24 hours. Location is perfect; we were able to walk to spark arena and to lots of shops and food outlets. Comfy beds and full kitchen facilities too."

"Stayed at the Grand Chancellor Auckland and honestly, the rooms were great, the location was spot on, but let’s be real—the true five-star experience was the bar staff. I don’t know what kind of magic training they’ve had, but I’m convinced they could mix a cocktail blindfolded while simultaneously solving world peace."

"Another excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express Auckland City. This is a really convenient place to stay at a great price - right in the heart of the city and with car parking literally next door. Buffet breakfast is a bonus too. We will be back."
