Fridge in room. Comfy bed, helpful staff. Easy walk to Ponsonby St where there's a myriad of shops and cafes! Grocery store is an easy walk too. We hope to be back someday!"

"Absolutely perfect location, great views of downtown Auckland, just one street from trendy restaurants, modern/contemporary, secure parking, quiet. Two slightly smaller chairs on the outside balcony would have been nice rather than one large chair, and just one keycard was inconvenient for a couple. Would stay again for sure."

"Great option for this location. A bit out of the downtown core, but I was not going into downtown. Short walk to Eden Park and highway access. Very interesting building given it was a convent in a previous life. Staff were very nice, polite, and helpful. I had a great stay there."

"I like this hotel because of the location, amenities and the rooms are good. It has a cozy British pub feeling restaurant and a pool. It is convenient to town without being too close. I have enjoyed staying here for years. "

"Very disappointed! No contact was made from property with any check in information! I had to call and they said there had been triple booking and weren't sure what there next move was! An hour later they called back to say it had been sorted and they would send through check in details, waited another hour before getting in contact with then again to see why they hadn't sent through, still no replies until 11pm after we had already had to make other arrangements for the night! Very big let down...

"The dining area had a lovely ambience, and the service was excellent, thank you for that. My only disappointment was with breakfast. I was really excited to see Shakshuka on the menu and couldn't wait to try it the next morning. Unfortunately, the eggs were overcooked, and the spiced tomatoe sauce lacked flavour, which left me a little disappointed and I ended up not finishing it."
