"The hotel was in decent condition, but definitely a bit more used and dated than the online pictures make it look. The bed was nice and clean and soft. The couch had a different cushion on the middle part for some reason. a few dings around the room, walls, and floors, but it happens in older hotels. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. There were multiple families with many children running around and out of control at the pool. I could tell that the staff was trying their best to handle the craziness, but they were obviously burnt out and over it. All of the signs outside stating that the hotel is not responsible for anything being stolen or broken into is not their fault were a bit worrisome."

"It's nice to have your room cleaned and bed made everyday. We have to request that at other hotels. The place is so large, it was fun to look around and find, for example, the Weber Hall of Fame which included celebrities from all eras.And we had an excellent dinner at their restaurant. There was one disappointment checking out. I use Hotels.com to book most of my stays. I have never been told that "Expedia would email the list of charges." What? It's 24 hours later and now I need to call them. We spent quite a bit there, but she was very quick to dismiss me....like this is what happens when you don't book with them, and I mentioned that no other hotel has ever withheld the statement of charges. It was a bummer to end on that note."

"The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hotel was beautiful and luxurious and definitely worth another stay. The daytime staff was friendly and kind and welcoming. The nighttime staff was a little off putting but maybe she was having a bad day. Just felt like we were bothering her. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people looking for a nice little getaway."
