"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

I checked into The Residency Rooms Liverpool and was met with a terrible smell coming from the toilet, making the room unfit for habitation. I reported this immediately to Expedia, but the hotel was unresponsive and not answering calls from expedia. While Expedia eventually refunded the unused nights, the whole process was extremely stressful, and this property should not be listed on their site without proper checks. Very disappointed and would not recommend."

"We only stayed overnight and didn’t use any of the hotel facilities other than buying a late night snack. The hotel is really nice with the nautical theme throughout. Great location. Would definitely stay here again and probably eat in the hotel next time"

"For my first visit to Liverpool i can say that I could not have picked a better hotel.The location was spot on- with a glorious view of the Liver building, Mersey and docks, very accessible to local transport and sights. Parking was efortless as was checking in.Very friendlly helpful staff, great comfortable room, breakfast 😋.
