"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. "I last stayed here over ten years ago, when I stayed while attending a week-long residential course at Aston University. I was impressed then and was still impressed now. Friendly staff, comfy beds and one of the nicest hotel breakfasts going, all while being a short walk away from Birmingham city centre. Next time I am back in Birmingham, I know where I'll be staying again 🙂"

"Unfortunately, this property did not live up to the standards and the costs! I was given an accessible room despite me not booking one. They couldn’t change it for me because in the other room, AC was not working, all for me to find out that you can’t set a temperature below 19 degrees in this hotel! I am not sure what people are supposed to do in hotter weather! Breakfast was really standard for such a big chain. Will not be staying again!"
