"This was our second stay at Barcelo Maya Palace. We love having so many options and being able to play at each of the resort's pools, water slide parks, and beaches. The resort's location is also so nice and close to the Xplor and Xel-ha parks. One disappointment this visit was we weren't able to get a reservation at the teppanyaki restaurant, even thought we inquired when we were checking in."

"Room and bathrooms are pretty old. I saw mold in the bathroom. They try to keep it clean. Staff are very friendly. Food is ok in the tropical, but in the Caribbean, food is excellent. My kids love the pool with the slide. Overall the hotel is ok. "
