"This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character. Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well. Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly. The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. "This stay took me by surprise. Originally booked at a passover to macchu picchu, the property could be a destination itself. It is walking distance from the town (uphill), and the train station (5 min). Absolutely gorgeous mountain view, gardens, and well kept in all regards. The restaurant onsite was open late and included breakfast and it was very delicious. They also had a very nice coffee and coca tea station. The room decor is a little outdated but honestly it added to the charm and cleanliness was fantastic."
