"Simply perfect! The hotel is incredible, the rooms are spacious, the location is ideal and very close to Kyoto Station on the south side, the breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious and varied, and the staff is super welcoming and friendly. We loved our 7‑night stay and will recommend it to our loved ones, and we’ll be back if we return to Kyoto!"

"The hotel is relatively near Kyoto Station (20min walk or 13min drive). The rooms are clean, fairly spacious, and full of convenient amenities. In my room, there was a small desk, a futon bed, and a desk atop a tatami mat. Each bathroom includes a heated toilet, heated tub, and a shower. Room slippers are provided. The staff were excellent. They were very helpful throughout, going above and beyond. When we first arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly. The concierge explained the features of the hotel, making known that the laundry was available for free of charge, self-serve amenities were available in the lobby, and breakfast was available for purchase. Meanwhile, staff are available at the front desk from 7AM until 10PM (but on call at all hours). Luckily, the staff are also fluent in English, which made our stay very convenient. At the end of our stay, the staff allowed us to store our baggage after checking out and also assisted us with hailing cabs, loading out luggage into the cabs, and even held umbrellas for us in the rain. I’m pleased with my stay and would recommend the Kiyomizu Elite Terrace"
