"They have a wonderful onsen with both indoor and outdoor options. It was especially beautiful this morning with snow covered trees. They have a lovely woman who does massages and who greeted me with a smile whenever our paths crossed. The hotel is right across from the train and bus station so getting around was very easy!"

"駅前40M、口コミでも、宿の評判が良く1階のカフェ、2階のレストラン人気との事。お洒落な旅籠なので1度宿泊をと。一泊朝食付きにディナーを追加し、1番リーズナブルなムランコース。でも食べ応えは充分。食事前に板長から自慢の出汁の説明があり余計旨さを実感出来、丁度新米の時期で輝きと旨味一杯! 新潟でポピュラーな料理も此処では新しい工夫があり大満足でした。スタッフの皆さんも客を引き立てて下さり感謝。お風呂や部屋は窓を開けられないので圧迫感と照明が暗く高齢者には見え難い(若い方には雰囲気がある)お部屋もロビーもレストランもモダンさと古さのとても素敵なデザインでした"

and dinner buffets both extremely expensive. Unfortunately too many staff do not speak reasonable English, in fact very little English. Finally with Gondola nbr and hugest chair lift closed for the entire 10 days we were in hotel and NOT one person selling lift tickets Could not explain why ? "
