The room was too hot (23c) and the hotel said they were not able to turn the temp down/air con on. Opened the door for cooler air and the mosquitos attacked. Rooms are quite dated and property is fairly run down. Staff was lovely and great location.

Good location for beach - shame pool wasn’t open yet as weather (for Brits at least) is definitely hot enough! Room was a great size and comfy bed. Toilet was a little temperamental with flushing. When needed anything staff were helpful. Unfortunately, the heating was on / controlled by hotel - it was so hot in room and the reception said there was nothing they could do. Constant 22 degrees in room during night so would have to wake up to open door for some air.

Disappointing experience
The front desk staff were very quick and helpful. However the hotel looks run down in some areas. The room was very dark, the carpet was dingy and the bed was quite hard. Overall, not good value for the money.

Excellent value
Great location - only 10mins walk to the old town. The hotel style was obviously built in 70’s/80’s but looks to have been recently refurbished. Plenty of loungers around the pool and access to the beach. Pool Towels provided which is great if travelling light as well as toiletries in bathroom. Room size is fine though the sliding door between en-suite is a bit heavy. In the bathroom the shower is over the bath which is quite a deep step into and could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues but I stayed in a 5* hotel recently in the old town which was just the same. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dining room is functional and clean. Good choice at buffet breakfast - continental, hot, breads, pastries, fruit. Overall excellent value for money and I would stay again

Great location and 10-12 min walk to old town. Old property! The pool was the hi-light of the property (and even that was old). Room was dated, small and dingy. There was a used water bottle under our bed and hair strands in the tub, carpet stained.

Positives - Great location, walkable to Old Town Zadar and opposite public beach. Large room (we had a suite). Good plentiful breakfast. Nice area around the pool with sun loungers (but people put towels down early so be aware to get there early). Could do better - Air conditioning is centrally controlled so room tended to be too cool for us. Have to ask reception to change temperature in room. Pool ok, but could do with being upgraded.

The lobby is not as big as in the photo. The rooms are rather small but clean.. Bathrooms are average. They charged 5E per day for parking, but it could be free if you used right reservation method. Check. Try to go directly thru hotel. Strengths are the great buffet breakfast in a huge room included in price and good quality lunch and dinner also. We ate a few dinners in the hotel for under 15 euros and they were good. Not as great as wonderful restaurants in Zadar, but good. Hotel has a big pool with drink service. Beach is right in back of hotel and nice walk in 15 min to walled center of the city. They called cabs for us quicklly. Front desk was very responsive. The hotel is very quiet for sleeping. Price is reasonable. I would return for sure.

Old hotel. Tired but in good condition. Clean large staff to help. Next to the beach. No stores close by. You need a car if you want to go any shops/restaurants. The price was fair I would stay there again only if I had a car.

Absolutely beautiful. Rooms are small but the amenities are so good, you literally just need to room for sleeping. The only thing was the temperature control air conditioning wasn’t as cool as we needed. We did get hot in the middle of the night. But otherwise the place was beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here. It’s walking distance into town with plenty of restaurants around to choose from.

Convenient place to stay that is easily walkable to the bus station. Also great pool area with ample seating. Secure entry also makes it feel safe. Room was great size and clean. Also nice to have the balcony.

Large hotel 10 to 15 min from center
Large resort hotel with swimming pool and access to beach, saw lots of families. I chose it for the free parking but it was a 10 to 15 min walk to the center. Very spacious room with plenty of mirrors, toiletry amenities.

Good location with pool
Hotel itself is conveniently located close to the centre of Zadar. Pool area nicer than pictures show in that big enough and clean. Room has everything you need but it feels quite dark and basic. It does have all you need though but room is small. The dinig area has a school canteen sort of look - breakfast ok. If this hotel was modernised a little, it would be great as it is agreat location and plunging into the pool on a hot day was most welcome and even in july - not too busy

Check in was fast with no queue. We just had the expected tourist tax outstanding on our bill which I knew needed to be paid on departure: the staff kindly explained this in person. The room was comfortable (my partner would like a mattress fit for a princess, I found it very comfortable). The little toiletries included moisturiser which was ideal as we’d not managed to pack any! The air con was very good and necessary. The hotel is regularly used for conferences, there were back to back conferences during our stay. These did not detract from our stay at all. There was always a pair of sun beds available by the pool whenever we looked (with plenty of parasols to go around). Breakfast had a great selection: your classic English brekkie, a continental selection with meats and cheese and pastries and cereals, and a selection of more Mediterranean feel items such as polenta cake, aubergine slices and cheese filo parcels. The winner was scotch pancakes next to a jar of Nutella! Plenty of coffee machines so barely ever a queue (even if we misjudged our breakfast times and came across the entire delegation getting breakfast at the same moment). The back gate from the pool straight out to the road above the beach was ideal. Super easy to nip down for a sea swim and then come back to relax on a sun lounger. The bar staff were lovely and I’m still laughing that local wine is cheaper than a bottle of water. A good walk to the town, but a certain ride sharing app is excellent.

I was quite surprised at the exterior of the property - the signage looks quite dated and the balconies are covered and unattractive, however inside is lovely, as is the pool area. Housekeeping was excellent (although noisy chatting in the hallways early in morning) and everything I requested was dealt with immediately - including a slip mat which I required after a fall getting out of the over-bath shower. If this is not in your room I suggest you ask for one. Location was quiet with a few beach bars in front. The beds are EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable. I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Stayed 10 nights had a fantastic sea and pool view. Room service every day very friendly staff. Loved the pool area plenty of sunbeds and towels. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Coffee not great though, was from a machine only. Take your own tea bags as well as only herbal ones there! Great position on Kolovare beach with nice beach bars very reasonably priced. We loved Zadar and will definately return.
