A hidden gem!
It's a secret garden! Beautiful grounds, super friendly and cheerful staff. Amazing pizza and other foods. Fun pool bar. And it's hard to tell from the ad, but it's got a real nice Sandy beach also! Ps. I don't know what their mattresses are called, but they are thick and dense and render a great night's sleep!

First impressions wow looks amazing. Staff was very friendly looks well maintained. Some odd things though, cctv cameras are literally everywhere, feels uncomfortable. Some strange rules, odd caretaker lurking around property. Claims to have wifi, but then you find out only wifi is by the bar. "free breakfast" was disappointing, dogs and roosters very loud at all hours of day and night. Tap water yellowish tint, pretty sure rat in walls of bungalow. Basic bungalow does not have A/C, has inadequate ceiling fan. I asked for a fan and begrudgingly they provided. Upon check out they claimed that we damaged the toilet seat, cracking it somehow wanted to charge me $25. They claimed that they thought I knew. I will go back to this part of Philippines but would not stay here again. Its like the Stepford resort, looks amazing on the exterior but not so nice inside.

Thank you for your reviews and comments. Really appreciate it whether it is negative or positive, in this way we can improve more. However, let me clarify a few things. Sir/Ma'am upon check-in, our front office staff explain to you that any damages in room occur during your stay will be billed accordingly. You are even advice to read first before signing the Guests Registration. Needless to say, you signed and it means you agree to the resort policy. Caretaker? I take it you are referring to our groundskeeper. Their job is to keep the grounds clean and they need to go around to cover the area but of course they know their limitations not to go near the rooms that being occupied by guests, my apologies if they make you feel uncomfortable but they are only doing their job. As you mentioned in your comment the grounds are well maintained. Breakfast, how I wish you have mentioned it to me or to Chef so we can find ways to your liking. Dog and roosters, they don't belong to the resort but to locals who lives nearby. Yes, we already mentioned this to our neighbor but no actions was taken. Thank you, we will talk to the neighbor again on this matter. Yes, our room the Cozy Bungalow does not have an A/C but a ceiling fan. We share this info as part of the description to the room. So guests will be aware before making the booking. Sir/Ma'am, if you remember when you requested the extra electric fan to our Front Office staff she relayed your request to housekeeping and it was set up to your room immediately. Lots of potential miss on the little things
The place looks very nice and tidy. Good water pressure and hot waters. However there little things that make our stay less pleasent. - The food is not good (you don't have any choices outside the hotel). - Bed blanket, not pleasent at all. We didn't use it in the end. - Drinks, serving shake without a strow. - Light in the room and the restaurant are strong white which make the places feel like an office. I guess for a family it could be nice but not for couples.

Perfect relaxing resort
Stayed for 5 nights with girlfriend and kids and was perfect for a base with everything we needed on site, great pool, beach at foot of resort, great dining, great staff, only downside is distance to Dumaguerte city to go to mall otherwise perfect and would use again

Great resort at a good price
Great resort at a good price. Internet was a big upside, food was good, rooms were clean. Mattress could be better, but then again it's not a 5* resort so not complaining.

Staff are nice and accommodating. If you want peace and quiet time, it's best to check-in on weekdays. Beach is clean and it is more private.

Well planned resort at a cozy pool.
White Chocolate Hills is a nice resort in a well-planned area with a nice pool. You can choose between more expensive bungalows and more native bamboo cottages with nipa-roof. The atmosphere is simple and peaceful. It is situated at a big beach.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. TV and WiFi both go offline 3-4 times daily. Restaurant is very limited and area outside resort is not clean. Owners also bad mouthed other resorts that are much nicer. Overall I give this resort a rating of 2.5 on a scale of 0-10.

Beautiful Resort!!
Awesome resort on the ocean with all the extras!! We only planned to stay for a one night but we opted for a second after we arrived. The rooms were beautiful and clean with all the amenities. Wi-Fi was great and they had plenty of fresh water and fruit. The owner was very kind and generous and help us get in touch with some locals to go boating, kite boarding, diving and snorkeling. Every meal we had was excellent and the staff was hands down the best in the Philippines I came across. The pool was amazing and the grounds were landscaped to perfection. It was truly paradise!! Great job Gunter and I will be back again someday!!

Nine hotel near boat access to apo island
Nice facilities with spacious room. Good food and staff is very helpfull and friendly. Very nice pool. Safe and secure property. I highly recomend this hotel if you want to be in a quiet area. Easy access via trycycle to boats to apo island.

Great quiet location all staff very friendly always greated with a hello and a smile The food is great The grounds make you feel like your on your own tropical island which you are. Right on the beach. bungalows are great bathrooms big and beautiful Only bad thing was wifi needs to be better only worked at bar but still not that great I will be back Great for a romantic getaway

Relaxation at it's best.
Stayed for a night. Had a late check-in, the staff was very helpful in confirming my late arrival and reservation as well as guiding me on my way to the resort as I was only commuting. Overall I love the whole ambience of the resort, it was very relaxing and homey. Stayed by the separate beach house with 3 hammocks in front. There are only few rooms therefore the resort was not crowded and most guests follow the rules of staying silent adding to the relaxing ambience. The staff was helpful enough to accommodate my request to inform me if breakfast is ready since my room is far from the dining/bar area. Overall it is a place good for relaxation.

Schöne Anlage mit tollem Pool u. Zugang zum Strand
Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und unser Bungalow war sehr schön. Nachteil ist, dass das Bad sehr warm ist und die Tür zum Zimmer immer geschlossen sein soll. So kann die gekühlte Aircon Luft nicht ins Bad gelangen. Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet und gepflegt auch Chocolate Hills sind zu sehen. Es gibt diverse Preisklassen zu buchen. Bei Nachfrage wegen der Fähre von Dumaguete nach Siquijor haben wir eine Falschauskunft bekommen. Im Internet sind die Zeiten leider auch nicht aktuell gewesen. Rezeption war hilfsbereit einen Tricycle-Fahrer zu besorgen um nach Malatapay zu kommen. Von dort gehen Boote zur APO Island. Die Fahrt ist nur 10 Minuten mit dem Tricycle. Mittwochs ist in Malatapay Markt. Den sollte man sich anschauen. Da ist auch ein Viehmarkt dabei. Die Überfahrt zur APO Island kostet je nachdem wie viele Menschen auf dem Boot sind. Um die schönen Schildkröten und Ruffe zu sehen muss man sich ein Schnorchelführer für 300 PHP für 4 oder weniger Personen nehmen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Die Überfahrt mit dem Boot war hin recht rauh und wir wurden sehr nass. Also bitte dementsprechend anziehen und vorsorgen. Auf der Insel muss auch noch eine kleine Gebühr bezahlt werden. Wir hatten auch noch einen Tricycle-Ausflug nach Valencia ins Landesinnere gemacht. Der Ort ist sehr schön, dann gibt es ein Forest Camp wo man sich abkühlen kann..., Hot Springs bitte hier dunkle Badeklamotten tragen da die Mineralien und der Schwefel sonst abfärben können.

Рекомендасьон!!! Отличный отель! Чисто! Красиво! Ухоженная территория! Утопает в зелени! Никакого запрета на "еду извне" я не увидела. При мне китайцам заварили лапшу быстрого приготовления, купленную в магазине.. Немного скудноваты бесплатные завтраки - "50 оттенков яиц".. ))) Но обеды и ужины великолепны. Полотенца меняют каждый день, и пляжные, кстати, тоже. Территория охраняется. На пляже никого ))) Отель для тихого спокойного отдыха

Das Hotel ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail geplant, gebaut und eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend und stets bemüht allen Wünschen gerecht zu werden. Dieses Hotel ist auf jeden Fall einen nochmaligen Aufenthalt wert. Wir kommen wieder, dass steht fest.

7 Tage die zu kurz wurden ;)
Vom überaus netten Gastgeber bis zum sehr freundliche Personal durfte ich 7 wunderbare Tage in diesem zum Tauchen ideal gelegenen Resort verbringen. Von der selbst zusammenstellbaren Pizza bis zu den Shrimps war jedwede Speise köstlich zubereitet, leider blieb mir zu wenig Zeit alles durchzuprobieren. Der Sandstein lädt zum Chillout am Meer ein, man kann aber im sehr großen Pool auch bei Bedarf seine Runden ziehen. Würde dieses Resort jedenfalls weiterempfehlen!

Attention surveillance à tous les étages
Lors de notre arrivée le " Propriétaire présent, n'a pas daigner se présenter", par contre il exerce une surveillance qui frise le désagréable... tout est prétexte d'interdit, le tour complet de la piscine..., des étiquettes partout pour de diverses consignes. Pour ces raisons je ne conseillerai certainement pas ce très beau "resort".

Godt ophold ude på landet!
Vi havde et godt ophold. God service fra alle medarbejderne. Dog ligger hotellet meget langt ude. Der er ingen ATM i nærheden. Stranden er ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Wifien er ustabil.
