Absolutely perfect way to stay in Zermatt. Views that don’t break the bank, a staff that’s welcoming, accommodating, and kind, with amenities to match. Close enough to everything, but a block or two off to capture additional quiet and calm.

An excellent stay at Hotel Ambiance. Perfect location with an easy walk to ski bus, shops, restaurants and bars - yet so quiet. Exceptionally clean, awesome hearty and plentiful breakfast every morning, friendly and super helpful staff….and that view..!! Will definitely return.

We booked a room with Matterhorn view and terrace. All we could see was a crane and building site that blocked the view in a way that you couldn’t take a photo because of the crane. We paid over $400 for this room. The manager decided we could still see the mountain so there was no grounds for complaint. We should have been advised by the hotel that there was construction going on. They must have been aware of this as they also provided earbuds to block noise. All in all the hotel is ok, nothing special, but the managers handling of our situation was beyond disappointing.

Loved it… terrific views of all the surrounding mountains and of course the Matterhorn.. small and cozy, but with all the services, still walking distance from downtown and the trains, and the staff very helpful with hiking suggestions and other recommendations.

Very pleasant and comfortable

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Very pleasant and very reasonably priced in the grand scheme of Zermatt. Breakfast is good and a conveniently located hotel within walking distance to the town centre and 5mins walk to the Sunegger lift.

Everything about this hotel, from check-in to departure was easy, uncomplicated and friendly. The staff were so welcoming, my room was cozy, and overlooking "The Matterhorn" Pet friendly, clean, and great location! I will not look elsewhere when I return!

This is a great hotel for your visit to Zermatt. Our rooms had a direct view of the Matterhorn which was incredible. The location is great. Close enough to the main street and lifts and far enough away to escape the noise of the busy area. The room was clean and well kept. The only thing that would have made the stay better is if we had access to an iron. It’s a great place and we’ll be back!!

I loved this hotel! I asked ahead of time for gluten free breakfast options and they purchased rolls especially for me. They also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train on the day we arrived. Our rooms had spectacular views of the Matterhorn with great balconies to relax in. They stored our suitcases on the last day so we were free to roam until train time. Great service, great hotel!

Overall, it was a pleasant and beautiful stay. There was only one dissatisfaction with the manager on night duty on our first day. Who did not handle the hotel smoke alarm system issue well at first and blamed the guests without identifying actual root cause. Thanks to the men who assisted as we needed to rest early after a long day of traveling. Lovely receptionist on our check-in with amazing customer experience. Can’t recall her name.

This Hotel is nice and have a sauna. Have a little sala as a bar . And a restaurant where they serve the breakfast. We just stayed one night arriving at 15pm and leaving after wearing up to see Matterhorn . Room was OK . We would like to have a kind gesture for the personal knowing that we payed for an upgrade and there is restructuring construction works I the building in front of our terrace. Terrace that was cloudly so no view Matterhorn . Besides this in the morning We have just two coffes because there were only tea in the room and the charge ua for the coffee. It was really surprising. No views// noise // no coffe in the room (230€/night) and they charging coffee . The economic room the bathroom no good .. that why we payed upgrade … better noise than small bathroom.
