Comfort and perks greatly exceeding expectations for a budget hotel. This hotel's "budget rooms", where we stayed at the height of summer, offer a (ski) lodge experience but also provide access to high end amenities (pool, sauna, workout, jacuzzi etc.). While the budget rooms are below surface level, they are designed to still offer glimpses of mountains and sky. They are also incredibly spacious and equipped with modern furniture and fixtures. Bathtub and showers to not drain well, suggesting aspects of the facilities may be aging. The budget rooms are perfect for families or larger parties. It's easy to get around each other with the bathrooms located under the sleeping area, offering essentially a split-level suite. 801 seems to be the biggest such room. For longer stays, I would miss an opportunity to prepare some food but there is a fridge and a water heater.
Breakfast is excellent. I also recommend eating dinner there. Guests enjoy a 10% reduction and the food and service are very good. Fondue and pizza alike are made with skill and fresh ingredients.
