"It's a really interesting property they have a hostel and they have a separate set of rooms that are made out of shipping containers but have been modified to be hotel rooms. Each one has its own air conditioning units and key that you can lock the door with. "Good stay overall, staff were super friendly. The building really needs a renovation, a lot of water damage around, the floor in our room was buckling. Door handle to the bathroom fell off but that was because the bolt needed to be tightened as it was an extremely old door handle. Breakfast was decent. They just need to send a handyman around to each room and go over everything to make sure it’s in working order. Also a coat of paint would go a long way to making the place look better. "

"My room had a beautiful view over the Rio Bay. The beach is just opposite the street. The Hotel staff did an excellent job in organizing a day-tour around Rio and also to get me to the Airport. Very convenient: The terminal for the boat shuttle to the City Center is less then 5 min walk from the Hotel with operating hours weekdays only from 6-12 and 16:30-21 (holidays like Carneval no service)."
