Here’s a smoother, well-written rephrased version suitable for a review: This is an old-style Japanese hotel with a luxurious dining area. The onsen stay includes a set dining meal. The food was decent, but not everything felt fresh, and the hype from some reviews seemed a bit exaggerated. I wish the soaking tub had been located outdoors on a deck, like in some other onsen hotels in Japan. The futon mattresses were quite thin, which made sleeping uncomfortable.

It is such a great hotel, so I chose it again this year. This was my 3rd time living here. The staff was excellent, professional, and friendly. The mountain view is fantastic. They provide a shuttle bus from Taipei main station to their hotel, and it is very convenient for people who travel. However, the facilities are kind of old. The buffet was okay, not really beyond what I expected. I hope they will remodel soon and I will be back definitely.
