Our room was in ground level and just in front of the lagoon.. it was nice and big room with kitchen.. We were in all inclusive and the food was decent . Pool was nice and restaurants are good .We also went to their sister resort which was also have nice pool. Overall a good stay.

Had absolutely amazing food at the restaurant this resort is all inclusive. Offers transportation to get around as well as to other sunset resorts to visit or access the beach Oceanside. Boyfriend was not a fan of the room keys because it is a wristband that you have to wear 24/7.

Everyone at this resort was friendly!! i would recommend this resort to all my friends and family. We had the best time! The bartender MEXICO was amazing. He was super friendly and super attentive especially when he was busy ! he went above and beyond in his service.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful it truly feels like Mykonos meets Cancun. The atmosphere, design, and overall vibe make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy. Amazing stuff and great service. Reception was way more than expected we got special surprise for my birthday. Two times the kitchen made us cakes without charging. We loved the yoga, cocktail class and cooking class was fun. Live music and Asian restaurant was super fun. This is the one resort we feel safe and kids friendly. My daughter loved the kids club. So so glad we stayed 🙏

Room was very clean, shower never had hot water. Staff is great very helpful and friendly. Food is above average and good changing selection for 3-4 day trip lots of seafood options ceviche etc. Asian steakhouse is only one table so can be hard to book a good time slot. Low season in January so expect not everything to be as busy. Good small hotel, water taxi to the bigger hotel for beach is nice and free.

Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club was an amazing place to stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The service throughout the resort was excellent—everyone was friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. The food was also fantastic. There were plenty of delicious options, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality of the meals really stood out. One of the things we loved most was having access to the amenities at their sister resort on the beach. It was the best of both worlds—enjoying the peaceful marina atmosphere while still being able to spend time at the beautiful beach resort whenever we wanted. The resort itself was clean, relaxing, and well-maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club to anyone visiting the area. 10/10 experience — great food, great service, and an overall fantastic vacation! 🌴☀️
