No sé ni por dónde empezar...todo nos encantó. Llegamos al aeropuerto, salimos y al cruzar la calle está el hotel; al entrar Don Daniel fue muy amable al recibirnos y nos asignaron una habitación al instante. La habitación con una cama extragrande y super cómoda, contaba con frigobar, horno de microondas y demás electrodomésticos. El baño con agua caliente. Al día siguiente nuestro desayuno estaba listo al despertar ya que se nos pregunto la noche anterior si deseábamos algo y a qué hora... ¡Riquísimo! Muy buenas porciones. Cabe mencionar que el lugar es muy tranquilo, no hay vecinos ruidosos, el único ruido que se escucha es el de la naturaleza y por la tarde algunos aviones, de esos ruidos que a todos los viajeros nos gusta escuchar. Hay diferentes agencias de automóviles a los alrededores, por lo que si llegan tarde les recomiendo rentar el auto al día siguiente para darle la vuelta a la isla y así evitar un día más de renta. Dan, el dueño, un hombre muy amable y servicial. Eduardo, muy amable. Bigotes, Freddy y Chocolate, son los guardianes del lugar y amigables con los huéspedes. Este hotel nos hizo sentir como en casa y nos llevamos a un buen amigo, Daniel. Esperamos volver pronto, lo más pronto posible. Recomiendo 100/10.

Our flight was cancelled, so we had to rush to find a place close to the airport. There are two Daniels here, one the owner, the other the cairtaker and cook. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and cared for. This may seem like a tiny, simple place, but it is a real find. If you're looking for a place for a short stop-over, this is it! We can't recommend it highly enough.

Just across from the Cozumel airport. Dan created us when we arrived. Showed the property and helped us with our car rental next door. Daniel made us breakfast every morning. It was great. Everything was fresh. Daniel was very friendly and wonderful to talk with. The last nights he made us drinks. As good of a margarita as I have had on the island. Overall a great place.

This was our first visit to Cozumel and we felt at home right away at Casa de Maya. It was very clean and had a charm not found at big resorts. We loved Chef Daniel's breakfast, which we had 5 out of 7 days we were there and a very delicious dinner made by him. we would definitely stay there again.

Anniversary Trip to Coz

This hotel is a great value. 3 minute walk from the airport. Reasonable cab rides ($6-$20) to anywhere on the island. Room was large and very comfortable and we slept well in the king size bed. Staff does a great job taking care of its guests. Thank you Eduardo and Daniel for taking great care of us including the special anniversary dinner.

Amazing little boutique hotel. Daniel, the chef, made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. He made us tasty cocktails to drink by the pool. Daniel prepared our supper and breakfast. The food was delicious.

Such a gem in a quiet area of Cozumel. It’s right next to the airport but we only heard planes a couple of times. The casita is beautiful and very comfortable. Dan made us feel very welcome and was quite accommodating. His chef Daniel was also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to - and his breakfasts are good local cuisine and reasonably priced. This place truly made our trip to Cozumel special and I would definitely stay again.

My mother and I stayed here for a few days on my Christmas break. Absolutely blown away by the utmost level of service. The owner Dan was incredible and extremely friendly. His staff Daniel and Eduardo were very attentive and accommodating. This was the first time we stayed outside of a resort and wouldn’t hesitate to return for our next trip. Los cuartos son muy cómodos, la decoración es rústica y muy bonita. La atención del personal es sumamente atenta y amable. Hay agua caliente, la alberca está a temperatura ambiente. Hay desayunos o masajes disponibles si se piden. Está a 5 minutos caminando del aeropuerto, pero a 30 minutos caminando del centro de Cozumel. Wifi disponible. En general un lugar muy cómodo para descansar y dormir. Muy recomendable rentar un auto, una moto o una bici, porque queda relstivamente lejos de los lugares centricos de Cozumel.

This hotel is such a little gem. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as we booked it last minute to stay close to the airport the night before leaving Mexico. However, the family suite for our family of 4 was perfect, extremely comfortable and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly, he got out a floating hoop and my kids had a blast playing basketball on the pool. He then even walked us down to a restaurant for dinner. Location is quite literally across the street from the airport, if we hadn't had so many bags and car seats we could have easily walked. Hope that if we are ever in Cozumel again, we will plan to stay here.
