My family and I stayed for first in this hotel. In my experience, the attention of the staff was excellent. There are two things that I did not like, it was the pillows and there was no iron inside the room. I will stay in this location and place again.

Decent hotel. Some staff were wonderful and some staff was not. Food was amazing. Best - I was able to watch a live football game from my bed because the stadium is next door. Worst - horrible uncomfortable pillows. I had a rough time sleeping because the pillows were the most uncomfortable ones I’ve ever seen.

The TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir far exceeded any expectations that my wife and I could imagine. The room was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The hotel is centrally located with many shopping opportunities, and the Pumapungo ruins (a bit of a hike, but not bad) within walking distance. A wide variety of traditional Ecuadorian and international cuisine is also available within walking distance or via restaurant delivery services similar to those in the U.S. All of the above pales in comparison, however, to the staff of the TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir. Every member of every team, from concierge, to wait staff to housekeeping, is warm, welcoming and courteous. John, who works in the restaurant, kept us drinking and eating without wait. He was a rad guy and I will consider him a friend for life. Many staff members are multi-lingual and all staff members seem genuinely happy to help with any questions. We did not have one negative experience at the TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir. We would have stayed forever!

I do not recommend this for a long stay. This is good for a long weekend. There is not enough space to store clothing for a week or longer with more than one person. There are not laundry facilities on premises as the ad stated. I would recommend booking directly with the hotel and not use Expedia. The rooms for Expedia are worse than the rooms advertised. We booked 3 rooms and one of the rooms needed to have the toilette fixed. That said, the staff is absolutely exceptional. They are very friendly and attentive. My family is not the easiest group of people and they put up with them more than I could have. The views are absolutely amazing, whether towards the church domes or the stadium. You are a walk away from everything you need…Supermaxi, restaurants, bars, shopping, Turi, downtown. It does get loud in the area at night, so not good for the light sleeper.

Kamer was schoon, maar een beetje kaal. Verder was het opvallend dat er geen airco aanwezig was. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel is gelegen naast een stadion. Tijdens wedstrijden is het sfeervol, maar ook moeilijk te bereiken. Verder is het ontbijt wat anders. Je kiest een basisgerecht van de kaart en vult dat verder aan vanaf een klein buffet. Al bij al een leuk hotel, maar met ruimte voor verbetering.
