Asia Food and Wine Holidays

I have stayed at The Mandarin all my visits to Bangkok and I have always enjoyed it. Great location, wonderful and helpful staff. Great response to guests. It’s slightly showing its age but still well maintained. The breakfast selection has always been good and expansive

Very quite and safe hotel! Stuff were amazing and has shuttle service to the beach

A wonderful hotel with fabulous food, but the best part was the staff. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and always happy to help. The two gentlemen at the front desk helped us with laundry, transportation, booking shows, and anything else we needed. The young man who looked after us at the restaurant and bar was fantastic. I’d definitely stay here again, and I hope to be back soon!

Friendly front staff , ultra chic room decor, great facilities and very convenient location . Easy accessibility to train station , direct link to a MEGA Mall that offers almost unlimited food choices from upscale restaurants , bistros , cafes, coffee kiosks , food courts and street food stalls not to mention multi levels of shops, shops and shops to explore .

My wife and I travelled around south-east Asia for 3 weeks and spent 6 nights here and it was by far our favourite resort of the trip. The staff and amenities are amazing and the restaurants had so many options that I feel like a could have stayed another week and still not have tried everything. The quality of the food and drinks was exceptional across the board. The beach is private to the resort and many of the rooms are located right in the forest where there is an abundance of wild life. It was extremely common to see monkeys, monitor lizards, and exotic birds along with a long list of other wild life native to the island. They also provided a long list of complimentary services, one of which was a guided nature walk through the forested portion of the resort with a wild life biologist that happens multiple times a week. Food and cocktails are all reasonably priced and our room came with a 150RM/person dinner voucher that usually would cover a multiple course dinner with several drinks. We splurged a little on food and drinks but between the complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea mini buffet and the dinner voucher we easily could have eaten extremely well without paying. This genuinely deserves the title of being called a 5-star resort. I would highly recommend anyone going to Langkawi to come and stay at the Berjaya.

Great staff, great place, great hospitality
