"Absolutely beautiful hotel, we were blown away. One minor issue, we had requested later checkout which we were told there was a fee for - that’s fine so we agreed. Then when my husband checked us out, the gentleman said we wouldn’t be charged for the late checkout - we were delighted! Upon arriving home, we actually were charged. Not a huge deal, but we were a bit put off by it. "

"The West is a great location in the Old Quarter. We have been to Hanoi many times and I think this has been my favorite hotel. Ms. Linh was amazing. "The hotel was a great place to stay with nice big rooms offering a queen bed with single bed for a family for three . The breakfast could have had more vegetarian options and in room service can be better as they serve breakfast only and nothing thereafter . Otherwise the place of perfect for a few days stay in Hanoi ."
