"The property was excellent. The only thing that bothered me was that I could very clearly hear the room above ours. They weren't being exceptionally loud; but I could hear them walking around, moving furniture etc. I am an extremely light sleeper so this probably bothered me more than most. It was just strange as I haven't experienced this at any of our other hotels. But apart from that it was excellent! I'd definitely recommend making use of the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearby...

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Pocket for several days while visiting Kyoto. It is located in such a convenient area (walkable distance to Nishiki and transit). The property itself is clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It is definitely worth staying here for the price! The only complaint I have come from the other foreigners/tourists. Please be respectful of the space especially when maintaining cleanliness as this is a shared space. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend Pocket hotel! "
