"Hotel was so convenient-across the street from Kyoto Station and walking distance from many shopping and dining options. Kyoto Aquarium was also a quick walk. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were top notch-everyone in my family thought so and we usually disagree on bedding and pillows. The buffet breakfast was amazing, including a full western and traditional Japanese offering. Well worth upgrading room package to enjoy the buffet every day. "

The only downside was that the train station was a bit of a walk in a crowded area in the afternoon with luggage. It was fine for morning departure.
