"Our room was spacious and had a balcony on the lake which was lovely. All staff on reception, in the spa and at breakfast were friendly and warm. Breakfast was good, usual buffet style. All round good value and pleasant stay."

The monastic ruins of Tintern Abbey are nestled in the heart of the Wye Valley area of outstanding natural beauty and can boast 900 years of history in their walls. This was the first Cistercian abbey built in Wales and only the second in Britain, and despite now being exposed to the elements, it remains one of the most stunning surviving examples of gothic architecture in the country.
"Truly superb hotel, so much better than it looks in the photos. Excellent location just off the M4 but you hear no road noise whatsoever. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful (big up to Bethan on reception). The rooms are extremely clean and spacious with a great shower"
"The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very welcome. It was clean and tidy and good value for money. Good parking and very quiet. The room was small but the bed was comfy. Had a good nights sleep and the wifi was good."
"Rooms clean and tea/coffee facilities available. Food first class, 3 star hotel, i would give it 5. Been several times, never been disappointed. All the staff make you feel welcome. One of my favourite hotels. "
