"Was able to check in earlier at 2pm and check out late at 1pm. Hotel offered to upgrade 1 of our 2 rooms to premier suite but we rather stay put as interconnecting rooms. Rooms are slightly musty so we left the doors open for awhile everyday as windows cannot be opened. Parking with multiple entries at RM5 every 24hr. Need to validate touch & go card for each exit. "

"Location was great. Easy to walk to all the sights of Malacca plus two massive shopping malls close by. The rooms were large but had a very musky smell that lingered for our 2 night stay. The two large curtains remained shut as 1. There is no view 2. No net curtains for privacy. The bed was also one of the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on (but we did sleep okay). "

"Overall this is a super hotel in a great location - next to the river and right in the older part of Melaka. The staff are excellent. There are a couple of minor 'howevers' from our 4 night stay: the bar wasn't open at all; and the restaurant was focused entirely on providing iftar buffet suppers. But, when, on 2 of the nights we stayed, we explained that we were staying in the hotel and wanted to eat in the restaurant (from the a la carte menu), the restaurant staff bent over backwards to accommodate us, even though this must have caused then significant inconvenience. We were happy, but it was unfortunate that the limitations with the restaurant and the bar were not communicated at the time of booking, so that we could either have decided to accept them or to book a different hotel."
