"The hotel is in an excellent location. It was easy to get to from the station and on a lovely street with plenty of good restaurants and a fantastic gelateria across the way! The staff were friendly and our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. There is no air conditioning but we were happy with an open window, although it was quite noisy from the bar and the church bells in the morning. However, with the windows closed, there are two sets, it’s absolutely quiet and there is a fan in the room for hot nights. The room benefited from a small sofa, and you were able to access free drinks from the breakfast room downstairs. Breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed the rear terrace, which was a lovely sunny tranquil space in the early evening."

"Lovely hotel and staff in amazing location! My only "complaint" would be it should not advertise as having parking. There is not a valet service and they merely directed us to paid city parking about 5 mins away. Otherwise, wonderful experience. "

"This is a 5 star recently renovated hotel ( and quite expensive). The room was very nice with multiple places to store clothing, a comfortable bed and an easy to operate shower. The room was air conditioned, which was very helpful since it was warmer in Salzburg than what we had expected. The surrounding area was very close to the old city but quiet. Our issues with the hotel were twofold. We were given a voucher for welcome drinks at the bar. After we finished our drinks and presented the voucher, we were informed there was a “separate menu” for vouchers and our drinks did not qualify. I complained to the front desk and would have expected the charge for the drinks (these were ordinary cocktails- gin and tonic and Campari and soda) to be removed from the bill but they were not. And although the breakfast buffet was very extensive, the service was mediocre. This morning my husband’s silverware was removed while he was getting something additional to eat. Ultimately he had to take silverware from another table. And I ordered 2 fried eggs but they never appeared. Given that this is a 5 star hotel, we expected better and more gracious service. I would not return."

"We stayed at Leonardo Boutique Hotel for 4 nights. It was wonderful. Clean, spacious rooms. Small fridge in room which was super handy for our hiking snacks. Buffet breakfast was yummy with lots to choose from. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Location was perfect. Close to great restaurants, attractions and transportation. We took the bus one day to hike Untersberg. Another day we took the train to Werfen to visit the ice caves. Super convenient. I'd definitely recommend staying here"

"Very nice hotel right in the center of the old town area. Clean room and safe area. You can walk to most tourist and site seeing areas if you are in good shape and like to walk. There are restaurants right next to the hotel in addition to the restaurant provided by the hotel downstairs. Breakfast was good with decent options. I would stay here again. You will need to arrange for transportation if you are arriving to the central station. A little too far to walk and most likely tourists will take an Uber from the central station."
