"Checked in quite late and they were able to accommodate our request for 2 adjoining rooms. Clean and comfy rooms. Location can’t be beat. Starbucks downstairs by the pool (which my daughter sadly didn’t get a chance to use bc of our late arrival). Caters to a business clientele so the weekend rates are much lower than during the week. Would definitely stay here again. "

"I was blown away by the friendliness that I experienced from everyone I ran into. The front staff were super friendly and helpful, as well as were constantly asking if there's anything else that they can help me with. The room was very clean and the bed was superrr comfortable compared to other hotels that I've stayed at. The AC worked amazingly and cooled the room where you could escape from the hot Arizona heat! Amenities like shampoo conditioner and body wash are provided in the showers as well as a pump-style hand soap! Really enjoyed that as I don't usually prefer the bar of soaps most hotels give you. The area felt super safe and was near many restaraunts such as Outback Steakhouse, Krispy Kreme, and Popeyes. I'm definetely planning on staying here when I come to Phoenix! 5 outta 5 stars, maybe even more! "

"I was a bit surprised as I utilize Sonesta quite frequently. This was the first time staying at a "Simply Sonesta" as this is a downgrade. The hallways have dirty garbage cans by the entrance, and it stinks, floors need a big cleaning, windows were filthy. My room was extremely hot, window was left wide open, no screen- highly dangerous if I had kids with me. I could not shower nor bath as the water lever was not installed and kept falling off and water shooting all over the place, luckily in the bathtub, but how inconvenient. There was a used towel hanging on the wall. The elevator doors were filthy. I came all the way from Seattle and is very upset with my stay. I didn't utilize the kitchen, but in my daughter's room the eyes to the stove did not work. I would like my money back or a credit to utilize at a regular Sonesta location. I tried to report the bathtub mess - but the phones in the room doesn't work. I gave up - showered in daughter's room. I should have complained when I was there but didn't have the time. Never again..."
