"The Overall Hospitality is outstanding, special thanks to Mr. Tong, who always card about everything. We are looking forward coming back. It was wonderful !"
"The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....
"This really nice accommodation at a pretty good price.
Maggie went to every extent to make my stay special, even getting her mum to give me a lift to a nearby cafe. "
"Family of six (aged 11-15). The resort was beautiful. Amazing facilities, lovely staff, very comfortable large room. Best resort we have stayed in. Would love to stay again and definitely recommend. Breakfast was delicious and so much variety. The location is quite a long way from attractions but we just used a Grab to travel and it was relatively inexpensive. "
"Wonderful stay, lovely place right on the beach in a quiet area. Fantastic service and very pet friendly which was lovely for us with our little chihuahua. "

"I stayed at Melia Phuket Mai Khao for a solo getaway and chose one of their villas with a private outdoor pool and bath - and it was absolutely worth it. The villa was beautifully designed, quiet, and felt incredibly romantic and serene, even though I was traveling alone. It’s a perfect place if you’re looking for peace, privacy, and a touch of luxury.
While my original plans for activities were cut short due to rainy weather, I still managed to explore Old Town Phuket, which added a nice cultural contrast to the tranquil vibe of the resort. Thankfully, room service was reliable and tasty, and although the breakfast selection is on the smaller side, everything I tried was fresh and well-prepared.
A heads-up: swimming at the beach isn’t allowed as it’s part of a national preservation zone - but that also means it’s beautifully untouched, peaceful, and great for long walks or just sitting and taking in nature. I personally didn’t mind at all.
Also loved the small, intimate gym - it’s not huge, but perfect if you’re into quiet solo workouts.
Overall, Melia Phuket Mai Khao is ideal if you’re seeking a calm, restorative escape - whether solo, as a couple, or just to disconnect for a bit."
"The property is vast, and its rooms are big. It's terrific that there is an adult section only for the pool, and kids have a special pool for a lot of fun. Breakfast is a wonderful treat. There is enough variety, but the quality is good. And there are many organised activities which one can do."
"We came in after 11 PM. The shuttle picked us up and dropped us under a covered entry to the hotel. It was raining heavily, but we stayed dry. Service was great, to the point I felt a little guilty. We were shuttled back to the airport at 7:30AM, so not much to report, except first impressions.
Not a place I would choose to vacation, but for convenience to and from the airport, I would highly recommend. It was less than 10 minutes travel time. They have it down with shuttles every half hour. Beds were comfortable. The tile floors and halls were a little unusual, but all worked well. We had breakfast upstairs at the pool level, not fancy, but quite nice. "
"The most amazing resort. Quiet and peaceful, great pools, bars, food. Most comfortable bed we’ve found in a hotel for a long time! Being north of the airport avoid all that traffic chaos that Phuket is known for. "
