Banff Park Lodge

Banff Park Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"The place was as advertised. The contactless parking and check-in were easy and convenient. Location was excellent for walking access to downtown Banff, nearby trails and attractions. The staff were friendly, the rooms were recently renovated and clean. I would stay here again, my girlfriend and I had a great time and were very comfortable. My only gripe is the steep price, but it’s Banff and you have to expect to fork out the cash to stay in a convenient location."

Tunnel Mountain Resort

"Lovely quiet and clean accommodation. We had fantastic views as well. The cabin was cosy, but basic and a little worn. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the location was excellent. The biggest issue was that while it supposedly slept six, there were only two comfortable seats in the lounge, so we didn't spend much time there. The same went for the balcony, where we had two broken plastic chairs, for four people."

Elk + Avenue Hotel

Elk + Avenue Hotel

8/10 Good
"It’s my 3rd time staying here as I wanted something convenient, especially with a toddler. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 stars are as follow: the loft I stayed at had several items unplugged (tv upstairs, phone (the ringer didn’t work either and I let them know right away), and the big one was that the welcome message on the screen had another guest name on it. I wondered if they had put me in the wrong room so after I plugged the phone in I called and asked. They told me the previous guest probably didn’t sign out….i stayed there for 3 nights and they changed the welcome name on tv the day I checked out. Besides that, the market is right next door and it’s a nice hotel overall."
