Peaceful hideaway
Really nice place. Peaceful away from traffic sounds. Well planned with water sound in background.Enjoy and recommend this place.

Good location
Good location to ok restaurants and bars quite good street food if you want it. Room was a good size and quiet as the hotel is down a small dead end lane. Staff are friendly but not as helpful as some places Patpong market is very close for a laugh or bargains depending on how hard you haggle Bts and metro stations pretty close

A little hidden gem, just off the main street.
This hotel is just amazing for price, location, comfort and friendly staff. I will definitely return on my next trip.

house keeping needs attention
my room didn't have a three pin power socket (only a double)to take my pc cord-I asked reception if they had an adaptor but they suggested a buy one.Unusual attitude.

Highly recommended
Huge room, equipped with everything that you might need during your stay. Centrally located, yet very quiet. Staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Great value for money.

Location was good.Stayed 1 night in a corner room on the 4th floor.Then stayed another 2 nights in a Deluxe room which was room 103 right next to the kitchen n dining area.The room was fine but it was rather noisy .Apart from that everything was fine.Nice breakfast.Got a taxi to airport from the street it was only 400 baht n that was including a tip for the taxi driver.

Very disappointed would NOT recommend
Room was not ready at check in so was asked to leave and come back. Not happy as staff not friendly and internet kept cutting out, at one point no access to internet for 36hours. Overall not an enjoyable experience so I ended my stay earlier and stayed an Silom art hotel and WOW what a wonderful place. Would not recommend Silom boutique hotel

A hidden gem, just off the beaten track
This smart hotel is hidden down a rather grubby soi off Silom Road. It didn't even have a sign outside (they said a new one was being prepared). Inside, everything was delightful. It is good value for money. The only downside is that it is some way from public transport and the bustle of Silom / Surawong shops, market and restaurants. You could of course take a taxi, except at rush hour when traffic makes that useless.

Very clean nice little boutique hotel in Silom
The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The price was very good. The internet service was not reliable though. Other than that I would definitely return to stay there. The staff were very helpful arranging transport for me. A very nice option in Bangkok,

Good value--good hotel..
Nice hotel, clean budget hotel, quiet off main street. No views but quiet place. Go off season to get a good price-otherwise is overpriced. Read the fine print, hotel takes 1000bht as a refundable security deposit. Do not pay for a room with breakfast - way overpriced breakfast buffet! The rooms are nice, staff is nice...good value in off season.

Amber was an absolute delight to stay at
Greeted by incredibly friendly staff, the hotel is new, very clean and modern. Tastefully designed and appointed both throughout the common areas and in the room in particular. The room size is very good and well laid out. In a small laneway it's very quiet in the evening. TV had great assortment of channels both local and international. I really felt super comfortable in the room, it was above my expectation, particularly for the price point. Would definitely recommend Amber.

Bad service, poor location
Staff Top was not helpful and inconsiderate. All the staff do not greet you when you enter the hotel. Inconvenient location - not on the main street. Staff won't help you with your luggage. Extended wooden frame of the bed can hurt your legs. Not recommended for bad service.

Hotel is nice and clean, but the bathroom needs to be upgraded urgently; there is a strong mold smell. The price is good for the room. Front desk staff is very helpful and nice; they book a day trip for me and arrange transportation to airport very efficiently Thank you very much !!!

The hotel is far from BTS station.The wifi is extremely bad. The room is very small for 3 of us. Staffs provide only commercial smile and commercial kindness. It was so disappointed that when we back the hotel after shopping in a raining day with lots shopping bags, the staffs give no help to us (like opening the door )but only watch!!! It was extremely shock that the shower gel and shampoo did not refill in our three days stay and the bath towels did not change in the last day!!! Also, it is so frustrated that they did not change the bed linen during our three days stay. One of my friend was on menstruation and stained the bed linen on the first night. Can you guess how embarrassing we are?? Our trip in Thailand was great if we did not choose this hotel to stay !

Nice Boutique hotel, hard to find.
Hotel is small but new and well maintained. Staff is very helpful and can communicate in English. Breakfast was limited but good. Location is within walking distance of train stations but the hotel is inside a side street, a little hard to find. Good eateries within walking distance from hotel.

The stay I would say is overall quite good as it has been long since my family has gone to Bangkok and we really picked this hotel by chance and rather last minute. The service by the crew was awesome and they are very polite day in day out. The surrounding of the hotel is quiet enough and the rooms are good to stay. The location of the hotel is good as its just a few minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS and is in silom too. The only disappointment I had was the breakfast as not only the choice was limited, some of them are rather terrible. Ie the ham and sausage dipped in the water which comes out everyday. However, I would say is good overall and I will be back and also recommending to anyone who is going there soon.

As the hotel had run out of Superior rooms, I got a free upgrade to a corner room. There was a balcony,without a view, and, as the customary lock on the door would not work, the receptionist offered to lock it with a key, which meant I had no access to the balcony. Room and bathroom were nice. There were plenty of electric sockets, although one pair didn't work. Bed was comfortable, although it was actually two singles joined together. I had to round up the glade air fresheners, which were irritating my nose. The room didn't smell so good afterwards, but you can't have it both ways. Sometimes heard traffic noise, but it was generally muted. The thing I disliked was the internal noise - the bête noire of hotels in general. There was a fuse box, which, although in a cupboard, made a constant humming noise. A loud hum, which could be heard at times, would diminish after several minutes. A strange noise would be heard at times in the bathroom. I could hear people walking about - presumably above - and plenty of banging and door-slamming. I can't complain, since I got a superior corner room for only 1000B, but I couldn't relax properly with all the internal noises. There are Thai eateries nearby, in Soi 20, as well as the more expensive restaurants on the main road..

Breakfest is a buffet but the selection was not much. Hotel is a bit difficult to find. If u check in at night and take bts chong nonsi. You can follow the sign "pullman " . Because the hotel us just 3 to 4 more street from that

We always stay here when in Bangkok - and the staff remembers us from year to year! Comfy beds, good-sized rooms, thick fluffy towels, and speedy wifi! Great neighborhood, too!

awesome place. value for money. clsoe to the BTS link at Chong Nonsi, and thus access to city was very easy. quiet neighbourhood. hotel was neat and cozy. rooms are "roomy" so i'd recommend a suite if you're not used to cramped quarters. but they were clean, and daily serviced by staff. receptionists were very polite and courteous and did theri bit to make our stay comfortable.

We've come through Bangkok four or five times, and the Amber Boutique is always our first choice! Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location on bustling Silom Street. (But the hotel is on a side street, so it's really quiet.)

Impressive boutique hotel
It was my family's first to stay in Silom area and this boutique hotel gave us a good impression. No fancy facilities but a decent and not very crowded hotel to stay in Bangkok. The price is reasonable as the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff can speak good English and hotel location is easily accessible to big shopping places in town. There is a nearby coffee shop, lounge bar and pizza resto. Less than 10mins walk, there is also a market where you could buy lots of yummy street foods and cheap fruits. During the night, you can walk to the famous Patpong night market as it's just few blocks away from the hotel. Breakfast was good and the room service menu prices are pretty much the same from other nearby restaurants. There are just few setbacks in this hotel that I think needs to be improved. Like the low water pressure in the shower, the old linty bath towels and couple of flying mosquitoes in the room. It was not really disturbing though, but it would be good if the hotel management would soon address these issues. Other than that, our entire stay was pleasant and we will surely come back again to Amber Boutique Silom Hotel. Highly recommended!
