Villa cha cha is a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of near-by Khao Son road. It is tucked in between two streets, so when you enter you feel like you have escaped Bangkok, for the price, this place is very decent, the staff is awesome and super helpful, you can book any transportation in the hotel as well. The restaurant is very pleasant with a little waterfall feature and comfy seating. The pool is small but perfect. The rooms are clean enough, and felt very safe. 10/10 would stay here again!

Booked a nice room with a window and view out over the pool and was told it was a mistake and they tried to put me in an awful toom with no window and 1 lamp. Complained and was offered a room with a window looking onto a concrete wall that was 20cm away from the window. Complained again and asked for my money back and was told this wasnt allowed. Finally got a room with a proper window but was made to feel bad like they had really gone out of their way to sort it. It wasnt a particularly cheap hotel for the area, could have had the same type of room(the one with the window) for half the price or had a very fancy room elsewhere for another £10. It was a mistake and i wont be booking there again. Oh and definitely dont expect to get the welcome drink

Nice location. Pool is nice but a bit smelly. My issue was the lack of hospitality. Stayed 3 nights and didn’t get room cleaned once. Also not very accommodating on requests. The rooms are very dimly lit as well.

First of all, the location is excellent. Right by Khao San Road, but not on it, so you don't get the noise. Easy access to various sites. The pool and public areas are lovely. The restaurant is undergoing renovation, so not open, but they have made arrangements with another nearby hotel for breakfast. This renovation does make one of the entrances a bit messy, but that's temporary and superficial. Now, the rooms. I shared a room with my adult son-it was a deluxe twin, I think, and was fine. It overlooked the courtyard, and was clean and, while not spacious, adequate, since we literally only slept there. My daughter and her fiancee got a basic economy room, which was tiny, overlooked a concrete wall, and barely had room for the bed. They were a bit taken aback, but again, they were only there at night. The bathrooms were huge and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, considering the price, I would definitely stay here again. It had exactly what I need in a hotel-location, nice pool, good bed, good staff.

Tiny and dirty rooms with poor service
We decided to take the upgraded room and booked the superior twin room. I was shocked to see how small the room was. We had to remove the bed lamp and push the beds next to each other as we couldn't walk in the room. The room was very basic with poor light. We discovered why the bed lamp was placed there, as there was no other light in the room. The tiles were old and chipped. When we arrived we noticed the room was never swept as there was hair all over the floor when we walked on our socks. When we asked for the room to be cleaned, they only made up the beds, never mind the bathroom and no sweeping again. Maybe the room is to small to sweep? The receptionist wasn't helpful at all, unless we booked our cabs and tours through the hotel. When we wanted to change the time of the cab pickup with the reception and we were told to come back as we waited over an half an hour for the lady to return. They said no one else could assist us. The good thing was they allowed us to store our luggage on the last day of check-out and we could go shop. Overall not what I expected of a 3.5 star hotel.

The staff was pleasent and helpful, and the price was right. There were tiny ants all over the room including in the bed. the floor was grungy. The fridge leaked. The noise every night from the street below was unbelievable and until very late.

We were optimistic about this hotel coming in, but the room we were given was in horrible condition. The lamp was broken, there were holes in the walls, the toilet seat had dried pee on it, and the toilet was running constantly. We asked for the toilet to be looked at it and we were ignored. We didn’t feel comfortable staying in such a dirty room and ended up switching hotels. Well worth the extra money! The conditions and customer service here were terrible, it is definitely not a “luxury hotel”

I’ve stayed at Villa Cha Cha in the past- It’s located in a rambunctious part of town w/ a lively night life in the Kausaun district in Bangkok. The hotel is dated, but clean. The room doors are old key lock doors, room safes are not attached to the wall ( a fix-it man came into repair our broken one & picked it up, left, & came back w/ a working one 😳), and the bathrooms antiquated. I like the breakfast options, the staff is pleasant, and the pool is lovely. FYI: they request you leave your passport w/ them or a cash deposit for the length of your stay. Very easy to get taxi to airport (runs 350-400 baht). Don’t book through the hotel for tours or taxi as the price goes up exponentially! Happy travels 🌱

This hotel is in need of a major update and new staff. It is filthy and the rooms are very dated. The staff are not friendly and not welcoming at all. The linen is extremely sub standard and the comfort of the room is poor. The rooms are very small and we had a column in the middle of ours, which made it even smaller. The lift is filthy as is the foyer. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, even if it is in a good location. Booked 7 days, checked out in 4 and none of the hotel staff were interested why or even offered an apology. It is a cheap disgusting hotel. I guess you get what you pay for, but I believe we didn't even get that.

Beautiful nature and great hotel
This hotel is very cheap considering what you get for the price. Great pool and the little apartment you get. The only bad thing we could point out was the waiting time at the restaurant when we ate dinner. But the food was fine when we got it.

Stayed for 1 night. Very central to restaurants. Nice waterfall feature and pond with fish. Good pool. Friendly staff. Booked a standard room. The view was practically a brick wall. Ask for a pool view aa it's nicer. Beds are soo comfortable and pillows, good shower. We got bus to koh kood the next day and bus place boonsiri was just next door which was so easy as early start

The property had multiple street frontages and a lovely pool in the foyer area. It was right in the middle of all the (food) action which is great if you want that, but not so great if you want peace and quiet. The corridors are loud and the lifts are 'hit and miss'.

Location was good. Rooms didn’t look like the floor had been cleaned and could definitely use some fresh paint, same with the hallways. Sheets were clean so that was good. Pool was lovely to hang out by. The fish pond by the restaurant was beautiful.

First impression arriving in hotel was very good, it is very pretty decoration, pool small but nice and nice welcome. Then we arrived in tiny old bedrooms, in the most noisy part of hotel I guess. Hard to sleep with the noise of fridge between our 2 small beds, the noise of A/C by the window and the outside bars and restaurants loud music noise. Breakfast is ok, no real fruit juices, simple but ok. Service is good, people from restaurant outside and front desk are nice, welcoming and helpful. On the contrary, staff from inside kitchen and hotel are not so polite, even rude for some of them. If you go, ask for quite rooms, supposedly there are some nice and well decorated ones.

Room was nice but maybe a bit pricey for the area. The common area is nice but even with the no smoking signs everywhere - guests smoke so much the air is polluted so enjoying time outside by the pool etc. as a non-smoker is impossible. Staff seemed mostly indifferent to this - skip the restaurant, better food and service can be had anywhere in the area for much less. Internet inconsistent and only 4 channels of television if there was reception which might be an issue for some. Water pressure not great but manageable - 5th floor.

This was a very nice little hotel! It's in a great location, but it is a little far of drive from the airport. Very good restaurant downstairs, clean room, good staff, on a very nice street with little shops and bars, but also quiet on your room. Pool area was very nice! You do need to request your daily housekeeping though which we did not know, but it was not an issue for us. Over all for the price we paid this was anot amazing little hotel!!!!

This was our honeymoon and first time in Thailand, and we stayed here 2 nights. The staff is wonderful: friendly, kind, informative. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable and despite the proximity to the nightlife of Khoh San Road (which we loved!) it was still peaceful and quiet. We had some pretty bad jet lag and enjoyed sitting in the lounge for food and drinks very late into the night. We will recommend our friends and family, and would happily stay here next time we are in town!

Pretty sure my room was upgraded for free, they didn't mention anything at check in but it looked like the superior room photos which I was very happy about! Easy check in, fast check out, room was spotless and nicely decorated. Great little pool with tree overhanging for shade. I had made a note in my booking for a quiet room and my room was very quiet considering the location right off Rambuttri. Ive tried a few places around the area in this tier, this one I think has the best value for the price considering the upgraded room. The attached restaurant has very friendly staff, only had breakfast there but it was nice and good value. A nice, chill, unpretentious place.

Loved Villa Cha Cha . Old style guest house, a bit shabby about the edges, but very homey. Cleanliness in shower could be improved. There is a restaurant on one side of building facing busy nightclub street Rambuttri.... so rooms on this side of building are very noisy til about 12-1am. If you want a quiet room, request a pool view. Still really enjoyed myself and the pool oasis is a delight. Would definitely return.

Great price and location for party seekers.
We stayed 1 night as a layover before getting the bus to Siem Reap, and we chose it for its location near to the bus stop. The hotel is basic but entirely functional. The location is just behind the craziness that is Khao San road. If you are a young party seeking individual this hotel is probably what your looking for.

Room was nice and clean. I chose de delux with king size. Room was big and a/c working. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Service at the restaurant was bad. Barely spoke English and charged me for a coffe that was included with the breakfast. Argued with the server and manager and they still charged me for it because I ordered the coffee 2 min before the meal. Never ate there after that. It was my first and last time. The decor was really nice everywhere
