It was our first time to travel to Bangkok. Arrived late night the in house dining was already closed fortunately there were snacks in the room. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly . They would call grab or taxi for us so we can get discounted rates. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Villa de Pranakorn.

Great pool sheltered in the courtyard. Good breakfast options. Good service with welcome drink on arrival and luggage storge. Room was ready a little late but nice lobby to wait in. Only complaint was we were in an adjoining room and the doors were so thin we could hear Everything... needs better sound proofing!

I had a perfect stay at Villa de Pranakorn. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are comfortable and in great condition. Breakfast was good and hotel is well situated to reach major sites quickly. Street is relatively quiet but great food options near by.

I's say this is a really nice 3 star hotel. Or a really bad 4 star. The staff was very very friendly but the accommodations were quite lacking. Our room was quite large but had a funky smell to it. The resources seemed a bit limited, we asked for an extra comforter, they said they didn't have one. We did end up getting one but really?? It's not really a great neighborhood, I didn't feel unsafe, it's just not particularly interesting or near interesting things. It IS about two blocks from Jae Fai's restaurant. Overall I wouldn't recommend.

This is an excellent property and good value for your money. Great location close to Chinatown and popular Temples. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast a la carte was delicious.

We stayed at 7 properties in Thailand and this one was by far our favorite. The staff made this stay so special and the room was beautiful. I am so glad we decided to stay here and we will most definitely be back. Tip for travellers: add the breakfast to your stay, it’s worth it.

Great location, with walking distance to Royal Palace. I was surprised how much of a bare minimum the staff was in terms of providing any assistance, whether it was helping us with luggage or telling us about amenities. The rooms are very clean and the pool is nice, but not sure how much sun it gets.

Great little hotel, convenient location and close to plenty of cheaper dining options. Very friendly staff, complimentary minibar. Restaurant is good and open late, a good option if you arrive late at night.

Well appointed and extremely clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a spacious and modern and the bed was very comfortable. Easy waking distance to the metro and the Ong Ang Canal with its nicely renovated promenade.

We were expecting something better
It is hard to believe that this hotel is a Relais & Chateaux. The hotel smells the old house. We had to pay a deposit in cash, which was very annoying. The rooms a re ok, but not great.

Not happy with this hotel. They lied to us.
Our first night at this hotel was fine, except the water in the shower never got warm. The next morning, we had an extenuating circumstance and asked to cancel our second night. The manager told us that it was fine with the hotel and that she would approve and refund us when hotels.com sent the cancellation request. Once we left, I followed-up with hotels.com who told us that the hotel manager did not approve the refund and that there was nothing they could do. I reached out to the manager and did not get a response. Hotels.com was not helpful and didn’t take any responsibility, even after I was on the phone with them during the entire conversation with the manager. I felt lied to and our time and money was wasted.

I booked this hotel about two months in advance for February. A few weeks before our trip, I made multiple attempts to contact the hotel to arrange airport transfer- which they said they offered on Hotels.com… via facebook, email, website contact form, and even hotels.com. Hotels.com was successful at contacting them but the hotel never responded to me. As a foreigner, this was unsettling because now I feel like this hotel has bad customer service. Check-in was very easy. The receptionist named Ham, was very polite and helpful. He brought us up then our luggage. The room did not disappoint. Very clean and nice just like the photos. Different amenities were included like razor, q-tips, shower cap, and toothbrush/toothpaste. They included two large glass bottles of water. The bed was very comfortable and shower was nice. We paid for a room that included breakfast. The spread was beautiful. We asked for eggs and coffee, which I believe was included side the attendant says we didn’t have to pay extra. When we were done, we asked for two “to go” coffees and the lady that was serving us got very awkward and uncomfortable… I wasn’t sure why but we said we would pay for it if it’s an issue- even though, my assumption was coffee would be included BECAUSE WE PAID FOR THE BREAKFAST PACKAGE. At check out, the receptionist could not explain why I was charged for the coffee even though I pointed out again that I paid for the breakfast package.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel. Super easy to get from the airport to the hotel using the public rail transit system. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, quiet with a very comfortable king bed and a large bathroom. Walking distance to some of the best sites in Bangkok and close to the MRT station (Sam Yot) which can take you around the city easily. A real gem and oasis in old Bangkok.

What a beautiful hotel! It was so comfortable and relaxing here and I loved the design of this place - an oasis each night after overwhelming Bangkok. I cannot say more about how wonderful the staff are...so friendly and helpful. The bed was one one of the comfiest I have EVER slept in. The location is perfect if you want to be in Old Bangkok with close proximity to all the major sights and easy walking/taxi distance to shopping. If I were to nitpick, the only two things would be the water temperature never made it to hot (okay since external temperature was always hot) and my coffee was not replenished on my last night making my early morning departure trying. I am sure if I asked, they would have been more than accommodating though. It was a great stay and I would and have recommended it to all my friends.

Little Gem in Old Town Bangkok
The staff is amazing and so helpful with everything, making recommendations and arranging transportation. Sun generally made suggestions of Bangkok "Must See" items, all of which were valid. The one down side is that Old Town is showing its age. That said, the neighborhood seems very safe and locals are all friendly. Also, there are signs of renovation, so hopefully it will brighten up the neighborhood soon. It is a bit off the beaten path, so be prepared to haggle with Tuk-tuk drivers. Alternatively, learn your subway and train lines, as they have no traffic jams.

E’ in hotel piccolo, a misura d’uomo, non il solito palazzine con centinaia di stanze e pieno di turisti dei tour operator. Qui ci sono solo turisti indipendenti. E’ silenzioso e si trova abbastanza vicino al Royal Palace. A piedi son meno di due km, ma noi ci siamo andati in taxi con l’app Grab. San Yot metro (linea blu) station vicina, a 350 metri, che ti porta ovunque. Colazione abbondante. Letto enorme e comodissimo. Doccia che manda acqua in abbondanza. Aria condizionata efficiente. Noi di notte la spegnevamo e si stava bene comunque. Personale gentile e ben disposto a dare informazioni e ad aiutare.

Very nice hotel - with charming service people and a cute and clean pool. Distance to China Town and Great Palace Wat Pho/ Arung also very close - only one Metro Station. Unfortunately at the time of our stay there was street maintenance happening close by -> walk to the next Metro was short but along loud street work.

Zentrale fußläufige Lage zu MRT und Klongboot. Gutes Frühstück. Einrichtung für ein Relais&Château Hotel etwas schlicht, keine Bar vorhanden. Checkin/out problemlos.
