"Room was pristinely clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice en suite bathroom with good shower. Facilities to make a hot drink were replenished on request. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. Didn't eat supper in the restaurant because veggie options were limited. Breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area. Very close to Penrhyn castle and Bangor centre."
"Lovely stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Property is in excellent condition and very comfortable.
Didn't like chipped plates, lack of bin bags and tea towels.
Outside area needs some attention "
"Booked specifically because the advert said free on-site parking. It did not meaning an uphill walk from the car causing problems for my husband who because of lung cancer has breathing and mobility problems.
The cottage itself was excellent "
"Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village. Plenty of local shops close by. Very comfortable place, all the amenities to make it home from home. Unfortunately I was working, but it was lovely to come home every evening, nice and warm and welcoming. Great wifi and plenty of DVDs etc to entertain yourself. I could imagine in Summer sitting outside in the garden and relaxing. Well worth a visit. "

Founded in 1884 and set in the heart of beautiful North Wales, Bangor University has been undergoing huge investment, which has helped make it a highly desirable place to study.
Situated on the north coast of Wales along the Menai Straits, Bangor is blessed with a wonderful setting. With views of the Isle of Anglesey and the Menai Suspension Bridge in one direction, and Snowdonia’s towering peaks in the other, this friendly coastal city packs a powerful scenic punch.
It has been a while since I have been here, and there has been a decline of some shops (but this is true everywhere) but on the whole it is quiet, got a good choice of shops and places to eat, stunning views in places.

"Great place to stay in North Wales. Spa very good, but available times a bit restricted for guests. Vegetarians catered for but limited choice on main menus. Overlooking, a lovely place for a break."

"We used Snowdonia Mountain Lodge as an overnight rest stop near to a family gathering. We were all really happy with the accommodation, and it was better than we would have expected for the price we paid. Everything was clean, warm, dry and comfortable. Also, there is a small fridge-freezer in the family apartment, which we didn't realise, but could be really useful to know for someone reading this review.
As it stands, we plan to stay here again for the next family gathering, so book it now, before we do!"
