"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "

"We weren't expecting much but actually the staff were lovely, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was much better than most hotels we've stayed in, eg. Premier Inn, Hampton etc.

"Excellent staff- welcoming and professional with a very friendly attitude: couldn’t do more to help.
Decided to change my booking to an Executive room which was more spacious and worth the difference.
The hotel has a lovely ambience.
Had some friends come round as part of birthday celebrations.
Pool not available due to refurbishment but was told in advance & didn’t spoil our stay."
