"Rooftop bar was great! Hallways were not cleaned—toilet exhaust on the 2nd floor restroom was not working, smelled bad throughout the corridors. Bed was too soft, if not broken, and very hard to sleep. Room was clean, but no door on the bathroom. Generally could use a better maintenance program. Ambience is unique and very historical."

"I had a great overall stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated having both a fridge and microwave—it made things so much easier while traveling with kids. The location is a big plus, with easy walking distance to the beach. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. I also loved how easy it was to get in and out of the parking garage—super convenient when you’re coming and going throughout the day. The on-site restaurant was also a pleasant surprise and definitely worth trying. That said, it does feel more like a business/travel-for-work hotel than a vacation resort. I stayed here with my kids for a week over spring break because it was a more affordable option near the beach, and it worked well as a home base. The pool was just okay, and I was disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub. Overall, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay—especially if you plan to be out exploring most of the day."
