The Courier Hotel

"The Courier Hotel was the perfect spot for our Salem trip! The staff were very welcoming when we arrived as well as our entire stay there. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen even had a dishwasher included. Staying here made the trip so convenient with being able to access Salem within walking distance. We will happily come back again. My only complaint is the room was only cleaned once throughout our week long stay. And when it was eventually cleaned the staff in charge of cleaning the room only changed the bedsheets & towels and cleaned the bathroom, but didn’t throw any of the trash away which was full by then for both the kitchen & bathroom. The rug wasn’t vacuumed either which we noticed was being done to the room across from ours when it was being cleaned. Aside from that, I’ll highly recommend this place to anyone who is able to stay there."

"I was amazed to see the room especially the bed so comfortable. The staff welcome you with a great smile. We ate diner there and the food is amazing good got to try the wings and the steak tips so good with the mash potato and veggies on the side. The cook came to see us asking about the food and was nice talking to him and the waitress was smiling and always came to see if we needed anything. Nothing bad to say about this hotel I will recommend it and will go back."

"We stayed 3 nights in the East India Room and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the area. The decor is amazing and the house itself is perfectly spooky! The property is clean and well maintained, the owner is professional and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated the convenient self-check-in with a door code, which made arrival simple and hassle-free. Our only minor disappointment was the prepackaged cereal breakfast. We had expected something more like a traditional Days Inn style breakfast with eggs, sausage, ect…We noticed everyone groaned over the missing advertised breakfast….That said, it wasn’t a significant issue since there are plenty of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Location is amazing, There is an assigned parking spot. The property was quiet and all in all we had a wonderful stay!"
