"Location was nice right on the lake. An older property but it was clean and people were nice. Having an ice freezer on property to sell bags of ice would be convenient. I would return."

"We decided to head up to Big Bear a day early to avoid a rainstorm that was coming in the day we were supposed to travel.. Couldn’t get in to the house a day early that we had rented for the week, so decided to stay one night at Motel 6. We were pleasantly surprised. Though the room itself is not real big, the bed was comfortable, the heater worked well in the room, it had a nice size refrigerator we were able to fit our stuff in from our portable ice chest overnight, a microwave, which was very handy, and the hot water in the bathroom was great. The only thing we didn’t care for was the water that came out of the sink faucet has this weird sprayer on it, I would imagine it is a control of some kind to conserve water and not turn it on full blast. But that was really not a big issue. There was coffee available in the lobby in the morning, the icemaker was broken, but you know, sometimes things just can’t be helped. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay, we were able to park our car right outside of our room downstairs, and we would be fine with staying there again sometime."

"Honestly, a fantastic place for the price. We really enjoyed our time at Arkouda house. The staff was accommodating to our early check-in request, very communicative and responsive before & during our stay. The lofted room was spacious and airy, the fireplace made it feel cozy, loved the shower. Thanks for having us!"

"Let me start with this stuff first: -VERY CLEAN PROPERTY. -Mini kitchen was cute and useful! -Fireplace is a nice touch. -Staff we communicated with was very kind and helpful about multiple issues. Backstory: We booked a 2-night stay at Elfreide's Haus (one of the Boutique Cabine through N+P Boutique) during our stay in Big Bear CA. Although there were quite a few "hiccups" during our stay; I'm still willing to give N+P a strong review! Solely due to the wonderfully attentive Property Manager (Stephanie); who assisted us during our stay. They unfortunately booked a massive "mock wedding" photo shoot, literally on the exact 2 days we were visiting. Yikes! So our "quiet" mountain-town visit, ended up full of models, photographers, and an entire moving-team setting up countless wedding decor and staging mock dinners and bride/groom shots. The included community bicycles also had very flat tires, which made them nearly impossible to ride; and they were unable to be inflated until we no longer needed them. Regardless! Please hear me out! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Elfreide's Haus! We would most certainly stay here again! And we have told all of our friend's and family members nothing but good things about this facility! Stephanie tried her absolute best to assist us, and take care of us, as she was WELL AWARE that our quiet vacation, wasn't so quiet. Thanks Stephanie! We truly appreciate you. Hope to visit again sometime, for a better 2nd time stay! :-)"
