Outside is a bit run-down looking, but the inside was nice. Best parking, at least the night we were there (a Thursday), was several blocks away, and if you stay multiple nights expect to move your vehicle during the day. Beds are quite low, but were of nice quality. Overall a nice place to stay.

Home Away From Home!
It was like having our own apartment or little house all to ourselves for a week. It was clean, cozy, and well stocked with the little things you don’t realize that you need until the moment where you actually need it.

Family home away from home
Comfortable, homey apartment for family or group visit to Boston area with full kitchen and dining room. The couch in the living room could stand to be replaced, but otherwise we were very happy.

The hotel was unique in its set up being similar to apartment, I felt more comfortable here then I would at a standard hotel. The breakfast/snack selection was more than I could have asked for.

I hated the location. As soon as we parked our car the next door neighbors were out to inform us that the police would give us a $50 ticket if we did not move. We didn't move and we didn't get a ticket. This property has to stop listing itself as a hotel because it is not. After we finally gained access to our room (3 flights upstairs) we realized we were in a hostel. There was a living room across the hall from us a powder room at 1 of the hallway and a really nice bathroom down the other way in the hallway. There was a nice kitchen with a separate laundry room and a separate dining room. All of these things are shared by the guests on the 3rd floor. The the only other guests I saw was a woman who was obviously suffering from a cough and cold. She was in the living room watching TV so we avoided that room but we still had to share a bathroom with a sick personThe room was tiny and barely big enough for a queen size bed. Had a nice size flat screen TV & a good size closet. I was really angry that the place called itself a hotel. What it is, is a nice hostel and if you're into staying in places like that in neighborhoods with one-way streets(don't even think about stopping in the street for a minute to unload your car. You'll be welcomed to Boston by an Irate local because you're holding him up) . The inside has been recently remodeled at least a floor we were on but the building is not at all handicap accessible and the winding stairs to get to the third floor were no fun

Please note in super expensive overpriced Boston we try to give multiple booking options where guests can book rooms with shared amenities or for little higher cost with private amenities. You have a choice to book a private room or private apartment, or even a house.

It was a nice stay. The laudry room could use some fabric softner if they are going to provide detergent. Also, was not explained very well that this was a shared living area. I was quite surprised when I saw a random person in what I thought was my own place

Check in process archaic
Has it not been for a nice stranger walking by in the street I would still be standing in the dark, tired from traveling internationally and frustrated with an archaic lock box. The directions were detailed of which I had written out but the lock box itself was incredibly difficult to open & navigate. Two other guests tried to help explaining it also took them 30 minutes and they left frustrated. I called management and begged them to come to my aid, they texted me lock box instructions as they live too far away. By God’s Grace a stranger walked by and I asked for help, he was able to open it. The place was clean as advertised but the check in process is ridiculous and the porch light should have a switch to always be on as it was turned off not helping this intense navigation of a lock box.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. The owner was very generous, stocking the fridge and cabinets with breakfast items. There were plenty of towels and everything was very clean. There are nice laundry facilities available as well as cool AC. Just a note that this property is an apartment within a multiple unit building. It is more like an AirBNB than a hotel room. It was very affordable and nice for larger families or groups.

The property was nice with plenty of towels but I did not read that it was a shared bathroom when I booked. It was like sharing an apartment with strangers. There is nothing within walking distance and parking sucks. I must say the bed was uncomfortable and could not sleep on it. The blood stained comforter was not a good sign of hospitality but if you are looking to rest your head for one night this is perfect. I wouldn’t stay longer than a night.

The word shared is emphasized in the name of the rooms that come with shared bathrooms. We also have rooms with private bathrooms/nonshared apartments and houses. Our beds come with temperupedic mattresses which are not the most comfortable for some but considered to be healthiest option for your back. We have thoroughly inspected the comforter and could not find any stains on it. Our hard working housekeepers thoroughly clean/scrub/wash/dry/sanitize after each guest!

The posting is very misleading at best. You should know this is not a private room, you will be thrown together with people you do not know. There is a shared bathroom, not a desirable situation. This needs to be clear up front without having to read the fine print. I also feel I was baited with a low price but then afterwards the additional charges were added on which made it NOT a good deal at all. The room is extremely small where you sleep. The common areas are fine but you will share it with strangers.

The check-in was ridiculous! Although the woman on the phone was very nice, it was late (after 11pm) for me to check in , and after waiting at front door, she instucted me to go to the side of house through the gate to the side door where I'd find a lockbox.... Lockbox was VERY difficult to see and bring up numbers, nevermind opening up! When I finally did retrieve the 3 separate keys, it was like trying to get into Fort Knox! 3 doors with 3 separate keys and ridiculously long texts explaining each key to which door! AYE YI YI!! I parked on the street in front of house, but will have to move it at 7am, to where I don't know.... There is only permit parking around here.... Kitchen is big, and I'm washing my pajamas now as I dropped them into curb covered with water when getting my stuff out of car.... I'm not sure this neighborhood is safe! Anyway, it was completely false advertising on Travelocity!! There is no beach - it's in Dorchester in a sketchy neighborhood and although I booked late on a Monday night after enjoying sailng Boston Harbor and deciding I was too tired to drive on, they advertised $69, but the taxes were more than half of room price, another $37!! As I was trying to open up lockbox, I kept saying I hope this place is worth it! I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice inside.... plenty of room....But location on Travelocity's map is not accurate, and I feek like I was duped!

A little slice of home
It was really nice, like an Airbnb without the hassle of dealing with an owner! Access to a washer and dryer as well a kitchen is super rad! Check in and out with just a simple text? REVOLUTIONARY. Restaurants are plenty (especially vietnamese! Yum!) And there's a rite aid (soon to be walgreens) literally two minutes away! Only con was the cable was comcast or something so we had no access to channels we really liked as they're considered *premium*. Even cartoon network, yes CARTOON NETWORK. Also of note; unless you book all three rooms on a floor, YOU WILL be sharing space with strangers. Didn't bother us since each room has a lock and key, but I noticed some people gave negative reviews because they didnt know. On that note, one of the rooms is a SPARE so no TV and it's storage for extra dining room space. All in all would book again, just would remember to pack my chromecast next time, lol.
