Queens Hotel Cheltenham

Queens Hotel Cheltenham

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel makes a spectacular first impression, inside and out. The faรงade, entrance lobby, beautiful staircase and high ceilings are stunning and we were very impressed. Every member of staff we interacted with, day and night, was genuinely friendly and polite. In particular, we received a lovely enthusiastic warm welcome when we checked in on Monday afternoon. The room was perfectly clean, and had plenty of helpful features like space to hang clothes, easily accessible plug sockets and a fabulous bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean too and had all sorts of lovely-smelling toiletries. We liked the provision of coffee-bags rather than instant coffee. They tasted great! The view from our room looked out across the top of the porch of the hotel, and this did look a little bit weather-beaten and had some untidy-looking wiring for lighting the hotel front. If this could be tidied up a little, it would be great, as there is a wonderful view beyond it, of a pretty park full of trees and flowers. Overall, this was a spectacularly beautiful hotel to stay in and the staff were wonderful."

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are slightly worn but itโ€™s a given with the nature of the property. Rooms were clean and had no issues. Modern bathroom. Staff attentive and helpful. The spa is dated, and not all facilities were working. It felt more like hotel pool facilities rather than a spa itself. Great to have included in the price of the room to use if you want. Breakfast was okay, small selection of included made to order options. Full breakfast with an additional ยฃ5 charge. Eggs were not good quality, recommend hotel to change supplier."

Holiday Inn Gloucester-Cheltenham by IHG

"We had an enjoyable stay here. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking. The bathroom was a bit dated though and I was surprised there wasnโ€™t any hair conditioner (only shampoo and hand/body wash) so I would bring my own conditioner next time. Pool was ok but smaller than it looks in the photos so can get a bit too crowded at times."
