The washing machine was not available and we were not told upon arrival. Staff were helpful but having clothes washing in room was one of main reasons for the booking. The kitchen utensils and cutlery all required cleaning before use. The lighting in the bathroom was faulty. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedclothes old and tatty. The carpets were dirty. The iron and ironing board are way past replacement date. The dishwasher stank. The high cost does not align to the average quality facilities. The staff however are very lovely and easy to work with.

Good location walk to everywhere. Apartment cleanliness is average. It’s behind a bigger hotel so very noisy every early morning, around 4-5am when the deliver/ garbage trucks come. I chose the option of paying a deposit at booking and the rest at the hotel when check in. However 2 days before our arrival date the hotel already called and demanded full payment or booking is canceled. They also charged high credit card fee without it being mentioned on Hotel.com.

Clean apartment, some noisy guests but was a weekend and in Fortitude Valley so to be expected. Black out curtains in the bedroom would be a good investment. Overall a good stay.

Needs attention
Cleaning left a lot to be desired as there was still water in bowls stacked in the cupboards. Clumps of hair behind the sofa, extrenely filthy vents. The showers are super uncomfortable felt like needles on the skin which is unfortunate. Washing machine and oven shoukd have user manuals nearby as googling manuals is a pain to do when you dont know make and model of appliances and you dont eant to break someone elses property. Only true plus side was the reception staff were amazing.
