"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"Friendly and helpful staff who were warm and welcoming, excellent location, close to bus station, tourist attractions and restaurants, but incredibly quiet room. Spacious family room with excellent amenities. Couldn't fault this experience."
"Comfy bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. Gutted didn’t get to go in thermal suite as it was fully booked but other than that the stay was lovely. Had some birthday chocolates with a message from the team as it was a stay for my birthday so that was a nice touch. 10 mins in taxi or 25-30 min walk to central Liverpool. Would definitely stay again. "
