Location was very convenient, in the heart of the city center and a lot of bars and restaurants around. The bathroom needs renovation, the ceiling was damaged and moist all around it, the water in the bath was not draining. the toilet was not really clean.

The apartment for 1-2 people is spacious and has all the necessary items .. it’s a little run down in the sense that the tv was laying on the floor and the shower is actually a tub with a hose and no shower curtain but I got used to it but for the price and convenient location I really wasn’t expecting much and this was better than I imagined it would be! The bed was big and comfortable, the windows were nice and large with an excellent view of the city and the little plaza below.. I deducted 1 star only because there was literally no shampoo or conditioner or hairdryer so I needed to go to the convenience store and pick up those toiletries. On the plus it was easy to get to and very close to Grand Place and Mannakin Pis and had an easy to use elevator which I very much appreciated.. I really felt like a local and loved my experience and stay!

The only positive thing was the location. Part of the promised stuff was not there (no kitchen linnen e.g.) Even no mirror in the bathroon and no hot water for more then half of the stay of 4 days. Communication aboit that was really poor. The telephone which we could use was out of reach. Very smart?? No, one of the poorest stays we ever had!

First off, our apartment was massive and amazingly priced for its size. The decorations were sparse but welcoming, there was tons of natural light, and the space provided was incredible. However, our apartment had some issues– namely, the stove was functional but finicky, the door to the toilet could not be opened from the inside (meaning you could literally trap yourself), and while the bathtub had a showerhead, there was no curtain so taking a shower often made a mess. The location was very central and located near shopping, a grocery store, and the Grand Place, but quite noisy as it was located near busy bars and restaurants. Overall, our stay was great, but our communication from Smartflats was never answered. Regardless, I would absolutely recommend this property for a stay in Brussels.

This was the absolute WORST stay in my life. The property claims to have cribs and when I got there they claimed they can’t keep up with the requests so don’t offer that so my 4 month old had to sleep unsafely in my bed with me. On top of this, the door was broken when we got there, causing us to be locked into the apartment for hours. I called the property manager and after a few hours was able to get a hold of them only to be told they didn’t have anyone that could help until the next day. We wound up having to the call the police to get us out. It was completely unsafe and scary with a 4 month old especially. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Generally this was a great stay. It is in a prefect location, a few minutes walk from the Grand Place. The flat is huge. I could see myself renting it for a week or more and working from the place. And the price was amazing - less than half the price of most hotels in the area. The place was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The furniture and decor were great. I only have two complaints. First, they gave me the wrong code for the door. I spent several minutes thinking I was doing it wrong, and i finally called them. It took a few tries to get through, but they were able to get me the correct code over the phone. It took me about 15 minutes longer than it should have to get in, but not a big deal in the end. Secondly, there are a few things in teh flat that need fixing. The hot water heater was not workig when I arrived. There was a note on it (in French) stating how to relight the pilot light. Google translate helped me figure this out, but I did struggle a bit to get it lit. After that it worked great. The toilet also had a slow leak that ran water much of the night. I finally turned off the water supply as the sound was annoying and was waking me up. Anyway, those things were minor and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable place with lots of space. Also - if you rent, check your spam folder for the email with details on how to check in!

Es una propiedad horrible no lo recomiendo se encuentra solo lugar feo en todos los aspectos no entre y no me pudieron regresar mi dinero pero preferí perder mi dinero que quedarme en ese horrible lugar no es lo que dicen son mentiras no caigan en esa gran estafa espero nunca la vuelvan a rentar por seguridad del huésped pedí ayuda ese día a expedia y no tuve ninguna solución que feo que expedia se ponga de su lado por dinero porque si hubiera habido un reembolso no hubiera tenido ganancia pero no todo es dinero deben pensar primero en la seguridad del ciudadano Fue horrible esta experiencia lugar súper solo y en la noche tuve que irme caminando con maletas a buscar un hotel seguro

Di per sé anche un bell’appartamento, luminoso e spazioso, se non fosse stato di uno sporco a dir poco imbarazzante, quasi da aver timore di toccare i mobili. La cucina era in condizioni indecenti con macchine diffuse su tutta la parete dei fornelli; le luci dell’anticamera e dell’ingresso non funzionanti; il divano (che, aperto, avrebbe dovuto essere il letto dei bambini) polveroso e malandato; le pareti piene di crepe e danni vari. A questo stato di sporcizia e trascuratezza vanno aggiunti due elementi che hanno reso il soggiorno ancora peggiore: mancava completamente una tenda oscurante di una finestra della zona notte (il che ha reso impossibile dormire nel buio, sia di notte visto che sotto l’appartamento ci sono diversi locali, sia la mattina presto poiché entrava un sacco di luce) e non ha mai funzionato l’acqua calda. Ho prontamente segnalato i guasti e le varie problematiche al servizio clienti (tramite chat perché è impossibile trovare un modo per parlare di persona con loro) anche perché hanno “preautorizzato” sulla mia carta di credito 150€ di deposito di cauzione, e dopo aver espresso il loro dispiacere mi hanno detto che si sarebbero attivati “il più presto possibile”. Sono partito dopo 3 giorni e probabilmente non era così breve il loro concetto di “ più presto possibile” (quando ho fatto presente che nessuno si era attivato per sistemare almeno la tenda, mi hanno risposto che avevano preso nota ma non erano ancora potuti intervenire…).

Place was nothing like the pictures. Place was in disrepair and not clean. Couldn't lock door from the outside. No shower, just an old stained tub with a hand sprayer. Kitchen wall was stained. Curtain missing from bedroom window. We got there and promptly left and demanded a refund. They did refund promptly at least.

Die Unterhkunft liegt wunderbar zentral, die meisten Räume sind sehr hell, nur der Eingangsbereich und das Bad und die Toilette sind sehr dunkel. Die Wohnung ist leider etwas lieblos eingerichtet und die Wanddekoration (Farbe etc.) sieht schmutzig aus, so dass die Wände gerne mal gesäubert werden könnten. Es scheint als ob die Wohnung teilweise ungepflegt wäre, Es ist sehr wenig Einrichtungsmaterial da, so fehlt z.B. eine zweite Lampe am Bett oder eine an der zweiten Schlafmöglichkeit. Renovierungsarbeiten wurden nicht zu Ende ausgeführt. Schade, denn wir haben uns dort grundsätzlich wohl gefühlt, auch wenn es nachts durch die zentrale Lage (Szeneviertel) sehr laut war.

The wifi in the place never worked. I communicated with the host and the problem was never fixed. So there’s no real internet and that’s an issue if you are a tourist and depend on the wifi to communicate.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un appartement qui était très différent de celui en photo. La cuisine était dans un état navrant, les plaques de cuissons ne fonctionnaient pas. Dans la salle de bain le mur à côté de la baignoire était complètement décrépi. De plus la baignoire était bancale, et l’eau pas très chaude !!! L’endroit est hyper bruyant sur tout en soirée, du fait des bars qui sont en dessous.
